The story behind NomiStone NomiStone began with a simple idea: Creativity should have a place in our everyday lives. In our busy working lives, so much of our time is spent behind screens, moving from one task to the next, with very little opportunity to slow down and create something with our own hands. That feeling was what first drew me to making. What started as creating modern Jesmonite homeware pieces became a way to explore colour, texture and the process of transforming a simple material into something completely unique. But over time, I realised the most special part wasn’t just the finished piece. It was the process itself. The time spent experimenting, making decisions, trying something new and enjoying the satisfaction of creating something by hand. That realisation is what led NomiStone to evolve into hands-on creative workshops, giving others the opportunity to experience that same feeling. As NomiStone continues to grow, the aim is to bring these creative experiences to more people, teams and communities. Because creativity isn’t reserved for artists.
