  • It was great to attend the Institute of Physics (IOP) Radiation Detector R&D and Commercialisation workshop this week, hosted at the University of Liverpool. Dawn Broadhead was representing JCS Nuclear Solutions, joining a strong mix of academic researchers and industry specialists. The event provided a valuable platform to share insights, explore emerging technologies, and, importantly, strengthen collaboration between universities and the commercial sector. Bringing together academia and industry in this way is essential to accelerating innovation in radiation detection—helping move cutting-edge research into real-world applications across nuclear, defence, medical, and research environments. A big thank you to the organisers and everyone involved for creating such an open and collaborative forum. We look forward to continuing the conversations and partnerships that started here. #RadiationDetection #Nuclear #Innovation #Collaboration #IOP #Commercialisation

  • Great to see this launched. FLINT from BrightSpec NV is a very compelling gamma spectrometry package — combining a NaI(Tl) detector, SiPM readout, and integrated MCA hardware in a robust, compact form factor. Paired with #bGamma software, it is a strong solution for a wide range of monitoring, survey, and analytical applications. Really exciting addition to the portfolio. https://lnkd.in/e2bU7p59
