We are delighted to have been shortlisted for two National Rail Awards this year. 🏆 Our Chiltern Explorers have been shortlisted in the Fleet Achievement of the Year category, as the fleet entered passenger service in January 2026. A joint entry with partners including Arriva TrainCare and Beacon Rail, the Chiltern Explorer fleet was introduced rapidly, and the trains are transformational for customers travelling between London and the West Midlands.🚆 The Chiltern Explorers have replaced 50-year-old carriages, and once all trains have been introduced, they will enable a major capacity uplift across the network as we look to add 10,000 additional seats each weekday from December 2026's timetable change. In addition, we have been shortlisted in the Railway 200 Event of the Year category for rail heritage celebrated at Leamington Spa. Last year, wonderful new murals depicting rail through the ages were unveiled at Leamington Spa Station, one week ahead of the modern railway’s 200th anniversary. Created by Katie O Art and arranged by Heart of England CRP, the murals near platforms 3 and 4 capture the historic bicentenary, which began with the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway on September 27, 1825. The National Rail Awards will take place in London on Thursday 17 September. Good luck to everyone who has been shortlisted. 🤩 RAIL Magazine | Railway 200 | CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) | UKRL #nationalrailawards #awards #rail

Check out our brilliant new flags on Olympic Way. 🤩 We took over all 34 banner sites along Olympic Way yesterday, the iconic route between Wembley Park Tube Station and Wembley Stadium, during Bruno Mars' sold-out shows this July. 🎤 With around 90,000 fans attending each concert and another 20,000 people using Olympic Way every day, the campaign gives us a fantastic opportunity to put the Chiltern brand in front of hundreds of thousands of potential customers. The creative promotes the benefits of travelling via Wembley Stadium Station, just a four-minute walk from the stadium. Customers can be back at London Marylebone in as little as nine minutes, with no intermediate stops. #olympicway #wembley #traintravel

Hey Jude! 🎤⚽ We have announced that Birmingham Moor Street Station has been renamed Bellingham Moor Street ahead of England’s World Cup semi-final. 🏆 To support the Three Lions ahead of the national team’s crucial clash with Argentina on Wednesday evening (15 July), customers can see the new Bellingham Moor Street sign on Platforms 2 and 3 as they pass through the station prior to the match. The new station name and signage will remain in place for the duration of England’s participation in the tournament. Born in Stourbridge, which sits at the top of the Chiltern network via Birmingham Moor Street, Jude Bellingham is one of the West Midlands’ sporting icons and has played an integral role in pushing the Three Lions towards World Cup glory. Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁 #worldcup #england #football

Last week, our Train Service Delivery Team conquered the thrilling National Three Peaks Challenge, travelling between mountains by train. 🏔️ Over £5000 has been raised to date for the wonderful Railway Children charity, which supports thousands of vulnerable children alone and at risk on the streets and on the rail network in the UK, Tanzania and India. The team tackled various extreme weather, especially as the challenge was held during one of the hottest periods of the year. ☀️ You can still donate and help support the incredible work Railway Children do to protect vulnerable children around the world. https://lnkd.in/eE48TcKg #threepeakschallenge #team #charity
