🤖 What if the future of care is already here? This weekend, The Herald Scotland explored how robotics and AI could transform care for an ageing population – including technology Cera is already bringing into people’s homes. Across the UK, our care robots are helping people live more independently, while giving care teams greater capacity to focus on delivering great care 💙 The impact: 💊 Helping people take their medication, eat and drink regularly 🤝 Tackling loneliness and keeping people connected with loved ones 📈 Increasing care teams’ capacity by 20% 💰 Saving Local Government partners up to £11,500 per person each year Human connection will always be at the heart of great care. Technology can enhance it – empowering our carers to spend more time on the moments that make a real difference. As our population ages and healthcare services face growing workforce & funding pressures, we need to rethink what care can look like 💡 For Cera, that future is people and technology working together to give more people the support they need to thrive at home 🏘️💫 📰 Thank you to Sandra Dick and The Herald Scotland for profiling the difference our care robots are already making. A milestone for Cera. A bigger milestone for the future of healthcare 🚀 🏘️ Cera has reached 3 million monthly home care visits – equivalent to supporting one in four older people across the UK. 📈 And we’ve grown by c. $100 million annual recurring revenue in 100 days! That growth is about more than a big number – it's about our impact. Our 13,000 carers & nurses are now delivering millions of moments of care every month, using Cera’s AI tools at every visit to make care more personalised, preventative & safer. Every new patient we support strengthens our AI. Every insight helps us spot health risks earlier. Every innovation helps our carers deliver even better care 💙 Milestones like these aren’t the destination – they’re another step towards our mission: harnessing technology to empower millions more people to live longer, healthier and more independent lives at home 💫 #HealthTech #AI #HomeCare #SocialCare #Innovation #TeamCera

100 days. $100 million revenue growth (ARR) 📈 That’s c. $1 million added every single day. For any tech company, growing by that much annual recurring revenue, at this speed, is a key milestone. But we didn’t do this in pure software. We did it in healthcare. With real carers. With real patients. In the real world. Yet, as significant as this is, it isn't the number we’re focused on today. The number that actually matters is 3 million 💫 That's how many patient home visits our carers & nurses are now delivering every month. To me, that's what growth in healthcare should mean. Not just bigger revenue. More care 💜 Every step we take needs to convert into real impact: 🏘️ An older person staying safely in the home they love 🏥 A hospital bed freed up for someone who desperately needs it 🎯 AI predicting health risks before they become emergencies Scaling healthcare isn't like scaling SaaS. If an app crashes, someone can't watch a video. If we fail, someone's grandparent doesn't get care. Every percentage point of our growth relies on thousands of people delivering compassionate care - supported by tech that removes the friction. The most important application of AI isn't replacing people. It is increasing humanity's capacity to care. Revenue measures business progress. But the metric we truly care about is how many lives are made better because Cera exists 🌠 To our carers, nurses, engineers, many other Cera teams, along with our LA & NHS partners: thank you for every single one of those 3 million visits. #HealthTech #SocialCare #AI #FutureOfHealthcare #TeamCera Charlotte Donald Paul van Reesch Matt Ashley Patricia de Loro Le Discot Martin Samsa Samuel Ader Annabel Taylor Rose Wilkinson Shaun Donnelly Clive Rowland Nicole Kent Elisabeth Osmont d’Amilly Jake Rebuck Nathan Windle Martin Očenáš Richard C.náš Richard C. As our population ages, we won't solve the challenges in social care by choosing between technology and people. We'll solve it by using technology to make care more human 🫶 That's the future of care. This week, both The Times and The Observer UK highlighted how Cera is helping make that future a reality. 🏘️ Across the country, our carers are supported by AI that helps spot health risks before they become emergencies – enabling earlier intervention, fewer hospital admissions and more people ageing with dignity in their own homes. Technology will never replace the compassion, skill and judgement of great carers. But it can give them better information, help them act sooner and spend more time doing what matters most: caring. The future of care isn't people or technology 👉 it's people empowered by technology 💙 Thank you to Eleanor Hayward at The Times and Rachel Sylvester at The Observer UK for helping shine a light on what's possible. #Healthcare #SocialCare #HealthTech #AI #Innovation #Prevention #HomeCare

When I first said robots could transform social care, people were sceptical. But we made it happen, and this week The Observer UK called our robots a national blueprint. I didn't blame the sceptics. Care is a deeply human profession 💜 For decades, the political answer to the crisis has been stuck in an endless loop: we just need more money, and we need more beds. That conversation is officially over. Demographics have changed, and the workforce is stretched to the absolute limit. We cannot simply hire our way out of this challenge. We have to innovate our way out 💡 As highlighted in this week's feature – and as part of Andy Burnham's vision for the future – the answer isn’t replacing human compassion. It's backing it with our AI and physical robotics. This is what we're pioneering at Cera. When you bring this technology into the living room, the entire system shifts: 📉 Prediction over reaction: Instead of waiting for a crisis, we can predict and prevent falls before they happen 🤝 Carer empowerment: Frontline staff get the physical and data support they need to work safely and effectively 🏡 Dignity at home: Older adults are empowered to maintain their independence for much longer When most people talk about AI, they picture a chatbot on a laptop screen. But the most profound impact of technology over the next five years won't be digital. It'll be in the physical world - keeping our parents and grandparents exactly where they want to be 🚀 Thank you to Rachel Sylvester and The Observer UK for showing what the future of ageing in Britain actually looks like 🔗: https://lnkd.in/easSbh8k If you had to choose right now: would you welcome a robot assisting with your care at home, or are you firmly attached to the traditional model? The UK's next generation of technology isn't just being built for consumers – it's being built to solve some of society's biggest challenges 💫 🏘️ At Cera, we're using AI to help transform healthcare – supporting carers with better insights, helping identify health risks earlier and enabling more people to receive the care they need at home. That's why we're honoured to be shortlisted for three Private Business Awards, but we’re even more excited by what it says about the future 🚀 💡 Healthcare is becoming one of the most important frontiers for innovation. As our population ages and demand continues to grow, the technologies that make care more proactive, more personalised and more sustainable will matter more than ever. 💜 Thank you to every member of Team Cera. Your passion, compassion and innovation are helping transform the future of care, every single day ✨ #HealthTech #AI #SocialCare #HealthcareInnovation #PrivateBusinessAwards #TeamCera BDO UK BDO

Universal social care isn't just something to debate. It's something we can build 🚀 Thanks to Eleanor Hayward at The Times for highlighting how Cera is helping make free home care a reality through AI-enabled, preventative care. For people like 87-year-old Laura, that means staying where she wants to be: at home, supported by her Cera carer, Kenza, without paying a penny 💙 Behind stories like Laura's is a simple idea: the best way to reduce the cost of care is to prevent people from becoming seriously unwell in the first place. As the UK’s leading provider of free home care, our AI supports frontline carers to spot signs of health deterioration days before they become emergencies, helping people stay safe & well in the place they love most – their own home 💫 The impact speaks for itself: 🚑 296 hospital admissions prevented in a single borough last year, across just 440 people 📉 The number of older people moving into care homes almost halved 🏡 For the cost of one night in hospital, someone can receive around a week's worth of care in their own home As policymakers consider the future of social care, technology must be at the heart of the solution. A reactive model will always struggle to meet growing demand. A predictive model helps people live better lives while making better use of public resources. 💡 This isn't just a new way of delivering care. It's a blueprint for a more sustainable health and care system. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eke6aYFV #SocialCare #HealthTech #AI #PreventativeCare #NHS #HomeCare #CareReform #FutureOfHealthcare

For a long time, social care wasn't where people expected to find cutting-edge technology, AI or some of the UK's fastest-growing businesses. That's changing 💫 We're delighted to share that Cera has been shortlisted for three Private Business Awards: 🏆 Private Business of the Year 🏆 Technology Business of the Year 🏆 CEO of the Year While we're honoured by the recognition, we believe it represents something much bigger than Cera. 💡 It reflects the transformation taking place across social care. Technology is helping carers deliver more personalised, preventative care. Innovation is enabling more people to live safely and independently at home. And purpose-driven businesses are proving that commercial success and social impact can go hand in hand. Thank you to all the incredible teams across Cera for making this possible. Every day they're helping redefine what's possible in care – and we're only just getting started 💙 #Healthcare #SocialCare #HealthTech #Innovation #PrivateBusinessAwards #TeamCera BDO UK BDO

Care means everything to the people who rely on it 💙 It's the difference between feeling alone and feeling supported. Between struggling at home and the confidence to live independently. Between someone simply visiting and someone who becomes a trusted part of your life. That is what good care feels like 💜 This Good Care Month, we've been celebrating the incredible carers who make that difference every single day. For our final spotlight, we're hearing from the people who know that impact best. Their words are a reminder that great care is about so much more than practical support. It's about kindness, companionship and knowing someone is there when you need them most 💛 To every one of our 12,000 carers: thank you for everything you do. The difference you make is felt every day by the people and families you support 🫶✨ #GoodCareMonth #SocialCare #HomeCare #CareWorkers #TeamCera
