  • AuthoredUp 7.0: AuthoredUp MCP, Team Analytics, and Coauthor Beta v2 The biggest release of our summer season is out. Here's what's inside: 🤖 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗨𝗽 𝗠𝗖𝗣 Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any AI tool that supports MCP. It works directly with your AuthoredUp account - your stats, your drafts, your calendar. Ask it to: • Analyze your hooks • Find the topics your audience engages with the most • Write a draft with you and push it straight into AuthoredUp, • Set a posting reminder and fill up your calendar    No more copy-pasting in either direction. Full OAuth support, so you can cut the AI model off at any time. Available on every plan. 📊 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 So far, all our analytics 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 focused on individual content performance. The new Team Analytics page covers your whole program: • The leaderboard of your most successful and dedicated advocates • Members and company pages, cross-compared • The ad-equivalent value of the program    Plus cohorts. Group profiles or pages, track them together, and compare the groups. Available to organization admins and managers. ✍️ 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝘃𝟮 Coauthor is our AI writing assistant, built into the AuthoredUp editor. Your beta feedback on the firts version was clear: you want to create and control your voices. Now you can: • Train your voice on your own or saved posts • Add your own instructions • Keep separate voices for different kinds of content The beta is open to everyone on a trial or paid plan. Those who were in beta will get more credits and the new version automatically (no need to apply again). 🔄 𝗥𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰 Posts, connections, and followers update in AuthoredUp again as you see them while browsing LinkedIn. If you've had issues with stale or missing data this year, give it another try. 🙏 This release season is not closed. There's more coming this summer. 🔜 Read the full release notes 👉 https://lnkd.in/dYKBdKJ3

  • AuthoredUp 6.12.1 - Fixed 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘀 mirroring Over the last few weeks, follower stats were failing to sync for an increasing number of our users. To fix this, we had to create an entirely new approach to integrating with LinkedIn. But that is now ready, and follower stats can now be synced again. 🎉 On top of that, a neat tweak: if you're having technical issues, you can now 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗨𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 straight from the settings page. You can re-enable at any time from the extension icon. Plus the usual smaller bug fixes.

  • AuthoredUp 6.11.0 - 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗴𝘀 straight from post and draft lists, and 𝗯𝘂𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗲𝘀. You can now change your tags straight from the post list or draft list. No need to open each post or draft just to clean up your content library. If you use tags to organize ideas, campaigns, clients, or topics, this should make the whole process faster and smoother. On top of that, we've been working very hard on fixing 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. Some users who have LinkedIn’s new app experience noticed that their stats were not always staying up to date. Our new mirroring system is now ready. We’re deploying it carefully in cohorts to protect your saved data and ensure everything syncs correctly. So if you notice anything strange with the post or stats accuracy, please let us know. But hopefully, what you’ll actually notice is this: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲. 😅 There is still more work to do on that front, so we’ll keep you up to date. 👷♂️🔨

A law firm just connected their case management software to Databox. An Australian field service company connected theirs too. And a podcast host plugged in episode-level analytics. None of these are integrations we built. Customers built them over the past few weeks using our new no-code integration builder. We formally launched it last week. Our customers have requested integrations with 1,500+ tools. We built 135 of them the slow way: picking the most-requested ones each quarter and building them ourselves. The long tail never got built. So far, customers have connected 97 different data sources through custom integrations and are tracking 3,291 metrics across them. In April, they started tracking 1,313 new metrics (1,985 total). In May, halfway through the month, they've already added 1,296 (3,291 total). See the attached chart. Defining these datasets and metrics in Databox allows them to build dashboards, do analysis via AI (via our in-app AI analyst, Claude, etc), write reports with visualizations built right in, or automate workflows based on data analysis (using tools like Make or n8n). Here are some of the tools they're connecting: ➡️ Software built for one industry: ServiceM8 (Australian field service for trades), JobNimbus (roofing and contractor CRM), Clio (legal practice management), PracticeSuite, Inc. (medical practice management), Ascora Field Service Management (a 9-person Australian software company building for trade businesses). ➡️ Operations and finance: ShipStation (shipping and fulfillment), Samsara (fleet management and IoT). LoanPro (loan management software), MoonClerk (recurring payments), Frontegg (B2B authentication). ➡️ Marketing and content: captivate.fm(podcast hosting). Optmyzr (PPC management for agencies), AuthoredUp (LinkedIn post analytics), Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly analytics), Bitly (URL shortening and click analytics). None of these would have made our native integration roadmap. The volume isn't there to justify the engineering work. But every one of them is critical to the business of the customer who connected it. Connecting your data to your business intelligence tool or to your preferred AI tool isn't hard anymore. Now that you know, what is one tool you would like to connect to your favorite AI or BI tool?

Shield is winding down. And that is NOT a good thing, even for us. Shield was the first LinkedIn analytics tool that took the work seriously. When we got to the market, the bar was already high. Their analytics were the norm for all tools. Of course, we competed. And they pushed us to build a better product. 🤝 Seeing them go out of business is not fun at all. So the first thing I want to say is: thank you to the Shield team. 🛡️ The second thing is practical. If you used Shield, your data now has a clock on it. Export your CSVs now. It is still useful: https://lnkd.in/dBaTH_De And if you're looking for what's next, a short note on where AuthoredUp sits: 1. We don't have any trouble with the Chrome Web Store. We've had 3-4 releases in the last month. 2. We don't take your cookie or automate anything. It means more manual processing, and some data is unavailable. 3. You can rebuild your full post history via AuthoredUp. Nothing is lost. One more thing. We won't drop any promotion or discount codes. It is not fair to our existing users. If you're sorting through options this week, we're here. Free trial, no card. ---- For Shield's team, even though we never met, wishing you well. 🌳 Seven years of showing creators what works isn't nothing. ----- 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: We will have the "𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱" option by the end of May 19th. Works for individuals, agencies, and teams.

  • Do you keep tagging people to boost your reach? ↳ Here's what the data actually shows You tag someone, their network sees your post, and reach goes up. Except it doesn't work that way. We looked over a million posts and found that irrelevant tags don't extend reach; they suppress it. Here's what usually happens: • The tag doesn't match the story • The tagged person doesn't engage • LinkedIn reads low relevance • The post drifts The reach hack becomes a reach penalty. But tagging 1–3 people can lift reach when the tag is relevant. Tags work when you're: • Crediting someone whose idea sparked your post • Continuing a conversation they started • Co-creating content or event together • Referencing their research or data It all comes down to whether the tag strengthens the story or just sits there. When the tag supports the point, people pick up on it. When it’s a reach‑grab, they feel that too. 𝗧𝗜𝗣 If removing the tag doesn't break the post, skip it. Fewer tags, more intent. That's what the top-performing posts have in common. P.S. Do you tag people hoping they'll engage, or because they belong in the conversation? Be honest 🤓
