Citi has become the fifth clearing member of London Precious Metals Clearing Limited (LPMCL), and the first new member in a decade. LPMCL supports the world’s largest over-the-counter precious metals market, which has estimated daily turnover of around USD160 billion. Offshore wind projects continue to grow in scale and complexity, increasing demand for integrated installation solutions across the sector. We advised Cadeler A/S on its acquisition of Menck from Acteon, a portfolio business of Buckthorn Partners and One Equity Partners. The transaction is based on an agreed enterprise valuation equivalent to EUR 501 million. We are advising Danantara Indonesia on its USD2.5 billion investment into JBS Australia. We represented the underwriters in connection with Kinder Morgan, Inc.’s USD1.75 billion notes offering consisting of USD1.15bn of 5.550% Notes due 2036 and USD600 million of 6.150% Notes due 2056. The net proceeds from the offering are being used for general corporate purposes, including repayment of commercial paper borrowings and refinancing upcoming debt maturities. The transaction supports one of North America's largest energy infrastructure companies. Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates approximately 78,000 miles of pipelines, 136 terminals, 700 Bcf of working natural gas storage capacity, and 6.9 Bcf per year of renewable natural gas generation capacity. Intrum Group completed a SEK7.5 billion equity capital raise and EUR525 million senior secured notes issuance. We represented the banks on the financings for Intrum, Europe’s leading credit management services provider operating in 20 markets. The company is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and is publicly listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. The Republic of Chile raised EUR3.1 billion through an SEC-registered bond offering, issued across three tranches with maturities in 2034, 2038, and 2046. Chilean issuers DB Terra Chile HoldCo SpA (Mundo) and Sociedad Transmisora Metropolitana S.A. (STM) also completed bond offerings earlier this year.
