Job interview went... okay, I guess? I think I did pretty well on the first one, but I'm also pretty sure I'm not what they're looking for. So. Second was all 'tell us how awesome you are', which I'm... pretty shit at. Yeah.

ANYWAY KH3D DL:GJ:LDSKGJ YESSSSSS. Didn't quite get it done; am on what I'm 95% sure is the final world, but then I got too tired and ended up making stupid mistakes and dying all the time, which: frustrating. SO. Will finish tomorrow. >3 (I've been up for...18 hours, at this point, since I accidentally set my alarm an hour earlier than I meant to, because I forgot the clock wasn't set to non-daylight savings. /o\)

ANYWAY. SO MUCH EEEE. As well as flail, some line-by-line translations in here, though it's a bit hit-and-miss as to what I translated properly as opposed to paraphrased or more-or-less translated. Some have Japanese transcriptions, too! |D I am such a fucking geek.

MY DAY HAS BEEN PRETTY FUCKING FANTASTIC, HAVE TO SAY.

Had hot crosses for brekkist! Played some FFXIII-2; almost up to the endgame~~ Well. AM up to the endgame, almost up to the final boss, more like. I am a happy Tyger, yes. The storytelling is really SHITTY, so I'll be happy once I finish it up and can just run around beating up monsters and finding the extra bits. (...yeah, uh. ¬¬;; Priorities, I has them.) (Though if you like angst/hurt comfort/people making the best of shitty situations, you might like it for the fic-potential! I'm really more of a happy ending kinda guy.)

Anyway, did that, and also remembered to eat properly (though I HAVE broken out the creme eggs kind of a lot and also the bikkies I made yesterday are really tasty, so I guess I mean I ate ACTUAL MEALS too, even if I did somehow manage to make my pasta smell like burned toast. IDEK. Tasted fine, though) and did some translating and everything, and then 3D!!!! :D :D :D The 3DS' battery is just as shitty as advertised, so I only got in about 2 hours playtime, given that I had to reset because I accidentally skipped a cutscene, I am a moron. /o\ And it still hasn't finished recharging, blaaargh. So I'mma post up my reactions now, and go to bed, and then play first! thing! inna! morning! :D And then when the battery's dead do some translating and play some more XIII-2 until it's charged! And. Yessss. :3 (I know I could technically play with it plugged in, but I hear that's preeeeetty bad for the battery, particularly the first few cycles, and also I'd have to unwire it. And I do think it's important to do things other than game. ¬¬;; Theoretically. You know.)

I... didn't do much today? Did a couple of pages, and did the band for the other handwarmer. Sat in the sun. Read some Homestuck fic, went for a walk. I dunno, I feel like I wasted a lot of the day? Mragh.

BUT! I did start working on my khbigbang fic! \o/ Not, you know, much, but! I started working on it! \o/

|D And it's literally, not figuratively, too. :3 Anyway, needs a shitton of work, and also I have an itch in my brain about a) getting the last BbS novel, and b) reading the relevant novels for the rest of canon, so I can have extra flavour. Also replaying things! Though maybe not replaying much BbS? I've played that SO MUCH. ...on the other hand, I haven't 100%'d BbSFM, and there's some added extras I wanna nab. So maybe poking bits of it anyway. I want to play the secret ending again sometime, anyway, when I'm not miserably under-levelled and also keyboard smashing because holy wow. AS I DO.

OH ALSO I'm not allowed to post any online. :( But at the same time I kind of really want the option of flailing at people and posting snippets up for reactions and stuff. Maybe I can do like a filter? (And by filter I mean adding people to the access list, because no one is there! Because I don't use it!) I will ask if that's okay. >: And if it's okay I'll make a poll, I guess? (One question only! Went to see Supervisor today. As suspected, editing time. Only one thing to majorly rewrite, though, so that's something. Still need to a) find a theoretical framework (YES STILL SHUT UP I really don't understand how to framework) and b) reference the shit out of things.

Actually came home and edited the lit review, too. Which is kind of amazing; usually after a meeting I come home and hide from the world the rest of the day because omgomgomg so much to do.

...I never said I made sense.

Have a Xion fanart rec post - I did most of it today as well - which should go up on Saturday? I like to put them up on the same day the pictures start flowing through the Tumblr, so. Azy requested Sora-Riku-Kairi next, but after I take away the tumblr and zerochan pictures I won't have enough. =/ So I'm undecided. Maybe I'll do group pics?

26 – What is the oddest (or funnest) thing you've had to research for a fic?

...I dunno about oddest. Things just kind of are. The most frustrating was the Japanese police force (closely followed by the Australian army), though uh. Neither of those fics are finished or posted. /o\

Researching pokémon is always fun! And viera names! |D FFTA canon is fantastic, I love it. (I really need to replay that gaaame. Fff, life in the way.)

Completely useless day. Bad brain space. Don't want to talk about it.

At least my knitting almost doubled in length, so it wasn't entirely wasted.

Didn't do much thesis work today. Poked a thing. Read some book. Nothing particularly notable.

Did do a bit of domesticy type stuff, though, so day wasn't a total waste. Made brownies! :D Haven't knitted, though. =/ Ahh, well.

Prodded tumblr a lot, and found this, which is very pretty, but Riku's hair is black what the fuck. Saw it as a thumbnail, first, and thought it was Xion. Kind of disappointing!

Speaking of fanart, I've been wanting to show what my fanart bookmark folders look like for a while, so I coded that up just now. It's kind of hard! You can't just copy paste the folders and keep the file names, grrr Safari. I didn't put in the image-counts, 'cause a) they're changing a lot of time, and b) Iono if anyone's interested, and if no one is it's not worth the work - if you are I'll put'm in! Let me know.
Anyway, folders are either made because there's a lot of art for that person/pair/group/etc - this is why there's a Sora&Riku folder by themselves - or because I want there to be a lot of art for them - this is why there's a Roxas and Ven folder. Not everything has a lot in it! But some things do.

4 – Do you have a "muse" character, that speaks to you more than others, or that tries to push their way in, even when the fic isn't about them? Who are they, and why did that character became your muse?

HI ROXAS. Seriously, he's my go-to guy for almost everything, which you might've noticed. Notable exceptions are fic he's not in, and the hardmode fics. (Both of them, huh.)
But seriously, even if I have a 'what if Axel and Roxas are...' AU - which I do ALL THE TIME - it's pretty Roxas-focused, as I worldbuild. And therefor write, I guess.

Not sure why, exactly; probably sommat to do with the fact that the 'mancer-verse fic was one of the first things I wrote, and so I got used to it? But also he's always been a focal character for me. Iono. Maybe it's something to do with the way the prologue in KHII is kind of a giant, nasty tease, and I wanted Roxas back damnit. OR MAYBE HE'S JUST A CHARACTER I REALLY LIKE, IONO.

So yeah, as I mentioned, have had the sick today. Which. j;lajl;s What IS this, some kind of twisted karmic payback for the few years I had when I hardly got sick at all, or something? Ffff.

Finished watching Kamichuu! today! Well, last night and today, really; I still had ten eps to go, but let me tell you, when you're sleep-dep'd and in pain it is still awesome. Never even pretended to be a complicated series, and it's super adorable! ( Spoilers! )

...wow, that got long. Um. Anyway, am going to watch the first ep of Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica? I don't know which one's right) which I've seen rec'd everywhere as awesome shojo meta. Which, well. I don't know if my brain's up to handling all that much subtext and philosophy right now, but probably the first ep'll be okay, and then I'll know if I want to continue it. (I'm not generally a shojo fan, but I have yet to see anyone say a bad word about it, which gets me interested. Also it's short and I don't really feel like watching Slayers, which is the other anime in my queue at the moment.) And then I'm going to bed, and hopefully I'll be well enough to go to class tomorrow! >:

Day 16 – Favourite clothing worn by any character

...fffffff. I GUESS THE OXIII COATS ARE UP THERE. (I love Zexion's the most, actually. That sort of oversized sleeves is adorable, and also really comfy.)

Also up there: Aqua's corset, Roxas' Twilight Town pants, and Terra's not'hakama. I might make them just to wear them, I like them that much.

Another blah day. Did... practically nothing, academic-wise. Skim-read the thing I have to translate for Monday, then did most of the first page. Which is pretty much nothing. Oh, and I sent an email. Blah.

Didn't do much else, either, for all that I was up early. Went shopping with Mama - we went early to avoid the bus tours, which we ended up doing! .o/ She got some clothes and a couple of pairs of new shoes. I, uh. Got more shoes. ¬¬;;;; Even though I really don't need any more shoes ever, fff. They're really nice, though! Short boots, with buckles. (Not quite Nomura Docs level of awesome, but not bad!) Reduced from $200 to $70, which is a good deal! BUT STILL. /o\

Awesome thing: Mama finished making the jumper she was knitting for me~!! I CAN WEAR IT WHENEVER I WAAAANT~ :D :D :D (It's awesome and dark grey and has button-on sleeves and EEEE.)

...actually, this is a good way to demonstrate what kind of a day it's been: I thought for about an hour I'd lost my pokéwalker for good, that it'd either disappeared into the ether or maybe fallen down the heater vent. Do you know where it was? On my bra strap. *facepalm foreverrrr*

Didn't do much else today. Um. Gave the hardmode fic a final edit! Which did need doing. Nothing major, but, you know. At least trying to tighten up the prose a little, hopefully succeeded. Tried to start the Aqua replay for analysis after dinner, but after I died twice in the first room I accepted that no, today is not a day for gaming. Will start tomorrow, instead. So I coded up with Hardmode fic; it'll be up tomorrow (if I get art on time), or Tuesday (so I definitely know I'm not going to get some, given time zone fuckery).

QUESTION. The fic is divided up into 5 sections! Should I make cut-tags for each section, you think, or just put it all under one cut?

ALSO synecdochic is on my network, and she posted one of these Wordle things for a fic she's writing. ( So I did one for the Hardmode fic! )

Day 13 – Favourite summon

I don't really use summons. Um. Except for levelling up the summon gague in KHII, because if it's levellable I WILL LEVEL IT *___* I, uh. Don't even remember what all the summons are.

OH. THOUGH. The Pluto summon in Re:COM is kind of fantastic, ahahahahaha.

Okay, sleep now. I don't care if it's early, I'm tired. Again, fff.

Actually got up early today! Well, was woken, but whatever. (Hungry, too. Very hungry lately. Which is annoying, because I'm not doing anything to warrant it, unless stress and academia counts.)

Doesn't mean I did all that much thesis writing - I didn't - but it was a nice day. Got through Radiant Garden with Terra, too, which was my goal. (4 hours playtime. Um.)

Because I've seen it going round and it looks fun, a meme!

If we're talking the sheer delight of running around in it, Pridelands. If we're taking plot into account, um. I'd like to say Twilight Town, and I do like it. But there's a lot of heartpain there. Maybe The End Of The World, buggy navigation be damned.
