A conglomeration of fragments

Windows are all done! (Well. They need to be painted. But that's a different job entirely.)

They look much nicer with the architraves in, which isn't a surprise! :3 The flyscreens aren't exactly the same, it turns out, they have a different snibbing mechanism. Soooo we'll see how that goes vs Sushi. (I am not exactly confident in its ability to keep him in. He is extremely determined.)

Speaking of the cats, they had their vet appointment today! It all went well, though it looks like Tortilla may need some dental work done soon. :( :( :( So annoying, her teeth have always been a little dodgy, but the vet checks once we've been giving her the dental food have been great! Until now. :/ Hopefully it's just the stress of having the builders around? Dunno if that's really a thing, though...

In a not-unexpected but still weird reversal, Sushi is now the one more scared of the vets. :( Can't blame him, it's not like he understands he's not going to get xrayed and sedated and bits chopped off again, but it's weird to see him so timid.

I got them to send me his xray, btw (well, I asked to see it but due to their weird split campus stuff they didn't have it on hand and so emailed it), and it looks like he didn't actually break any bones, but it was uh. Extremely obviously dislocated. And according to my research, since that can't be fixed like how you can re-located shoulders/knees/etc in a human, (or at least it's very difficult to do, and only for minor dislocations which uh this was not), the outcome is pmuch the same. :( Poor bean boy. Still, glad I asked to see it now I'm a lot less frazzled! It helps to see it personally.

Anyway he's back to his usual shenanigans already, and dumped an entire jug of water all over my room this evening, so he's fine. Annoying little shit! He DID curl up with me when I was hanging out on my parents' bed, though, which was SUPER cute. :D

It did, however ruin the last of the pad of paper I was working through. Oh well! There was only like half a dozen pages or so left, it wasn't going to be worth drying out given how soaked it got. So, annoying it wasn't because it was totally used up, but hey, one pad down!!! Twenty bajillion more to go...

Other than that... went with Mama when she went to look at bathers, mainly just to get out of the house. The three of us REALLY don't fit in the back of the house together, particularly not at the moment, so it was good to not be there for... a couple of hours.

Yeah. It took forever. And Mama didn't end up getting anything, because the current look of stuff is uh. Cleavage everywhere! Which she's not comfortable with. And this is WITH the stuff with built in bras for big boobed people! :/ Would really be nice if there was something with support that also, you know, covered you up a lot more. Sometimes bathers are not for fashion, they're for not getting sunburned when you're wet! Mama has enough sun-related skin problems as it is!!! Siiiiigh.

Anyway, REALLY looking forward to being able to go the fuck back to sleep after kitty breakfasttime tomorrow morning. I didn't get to sleep until I don't even fucking know when last night, I just know that the last time I checked the time after going to the loo it was like 4:45, and I was up at 8, so yeah I did NOT get enough sleep. Had a bit of a nap, but really not more than like an hour, which is... still not enough. Nope.

Anyway. Yes. The sleeping, it should start now. Yessss.
