I ordered a pair of pull-on bra for testing (I wear them at night) and can recommend them; I'm going to order some more immediately. I'm thinking about those stockings as well.

Apr. 29th, 2017 11:29 pmThis has been the weirdest winter and spring for a while. We've had more snow in April than all winter combined, in fact it's been snowing today as well. I think it's turned into sleet now but there's still at least an inch of snow on the ground. Obviously, I'm still wearing my winter coat since the wind has been terrible, no matter how warm it gets in the sun (unless you're in a windy place). It's hard to believe it's almost May.

A winter sunset
Dec. 6th, 2016 03:21 pmWhen I look out of the window, I can see barely see the cranes of a faraway construction site over the tops of trees. As the sun sets, it suddenly reflects back from the glass windows of a crane and looks like a tiny flame. The sky is beautiful, pink is fading into pale blue on the cloudless sky. Temperature is -8 C and dropping, no wind.

Dec. 31st, 2015 10:55 pmWhoever compiled the list of movies on tv tonight clearly doesn't have an especially hopeful vision about the future: The Day After Tomorrow, Waterworld and Planet of the Apes (the original version).
I guess it would be traditional to make some reflective post about this year but I think I'll just rest a bit after the madness we've had at work lately. Cheers!

It was lovely to find out what is going on in your lives! If you posted every day or managed only one post or just thought about doing it but eventually didn't... thank you! Let's do it again soon!

Sep. 2nd, 2015 02:25 pmToday, it's all about fanart! Most of the visual stuff seems to have migrated to Tumblr, which I'm not part of, so I haven't really followed artists for several years... but somehow I managed to stumble into Amrâlimê, the Hobbit fanbook anthology.
Though I'm in a process of culling my possessions, I ordered it (ahem!) and people: it is awesome and I don't regret a cent I spent on it. I was literally gasping out loud at some of the pictures, how are people so incredibly talented?
Do yourself a favour and at least check out the artists' other work or even better, order the book.
(Obviously, I'm in no way connected to this book or make any money for promoting its awesomeness to everyone.)
