Welcome to tron_comm, the TRON community on Dreamwidth! All Users and programs are welcome here, but before we begin, there are a few rules and regulations we'd like you to observe:

1. Please respect your fellow members. Abusive language and flaming towards another User will not be tolerated. On a related note, racism (including antisemitism), sexism, ableism, and homophobia/transphobia/queerphobia will not be tolerated. Anyone engaging in these behaviors will be warned once and only once. If you do not heed the warning and engage in said behavior again, you will be banned from the comm.


2. All manner of content is allowed on this comm, up to and including mature and explicit materials. However, any mature or explicit material MUST be put behind a cut when posted. In that vein, if your fiction or art contains anything that might be triggering or upsetting, please warn for it and put the triggering material behind a cut when posted. (Example triggers: blood/gore; character deaths; sexual assault (including dubcon/noncon); body horror, etc.) If you post mature, explicit, or triggering material without a cut, you will be warned and your post may be deleted. Repeat offenders will be banned from the comm after five (5) warnings. (Regarding comments: mature, explicit, and triggering material must be warned for in the title of the comment.)


3. Self-promotion policy: promotion of your own art and fic and anything else TRON-related is allowed and in fact encouraged, but within reason. For example, sharing a multi-chapter fic that updates twice a week is fine; sharing your fanart repeatedly until you get comments is not. Furthermore, do not use another person’s post to promote your material unless said post is explicitly a promo thread. Spam posts and comments may be deleted, and you will receive a warning for each violation. Repeat offenders will be banned after five (5) warnings.


4. DO NOT repost another person’s content without crediting the original creator and linking back to where said creator originally shared it. Posts that lack the appropriate credit may be deleted, and you will be warned. Repeat offenders will be banned after five (5) warnings.

Warning System and Ban Policy

• If you make a post or comment that is in violation of any of the rules, you will be warned and asked to amend the post in question to put it in keeping with the rules. For example, a post with uncut mature content must be amended to put said content behind a cut. If you do not amend your post or comment within five (5) days of receiving the warning, it will be deleted.


• Warnings will be attached to your account for 12 months, but are not cumulative. If you accrue more than the allowed number of warnings for a given rule violation, you will be removed/banned from the comm. For example: you can have three warnings each for spam posting and sharing explicit content with no warnings. You cannot have more than five warnings for one rule (excepting Rule 1, which allows only one warning before removal).

ALL BANS WILL BE PERMANENT AND NON-APPEALABLE.

One of the primary functions of tron_comm is to serve as a place where members can share their various TRON fanworks. To that end, here is a template you can use when posting such fanworks:
