The deadline for early consideration is May 29, and there will be additional deadlines to apply throughout the summer. UW department and vendor permit applications also open May 11. Some parking restrictions waived June 19
In observance of Juneteenth, parking permits will not be required in most surface parking lots on Friday, June 19. Parking in these lots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. All garages and ramps will be under normal weekday operation.
UW Fleet rental rates to increase in fiscal year 2027
The rate increase is due to increasing costs for vehicle parts, repairs, and maintenance. New rates are effective July 1, 2026.
Department and vendor parking applications open May 11
May 29 is the early consideration deadline for reserved stall and department limited, service, and vendor parking permit applications. Applications submitted after May 29 will be accepted and processed in later rounds of parking offers.
Transportation Services announces 2026-27 parking rates and program changes
There will be a 2% rate increase for most parking permits. Flex, visitor, and bus pass rates will not change. Eligibility for the reduced cost parking program will not change. Campus electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will require new fees. There will be changes to Lot 204 rates, and Lot 206 is being relocated.

Two different courses (8K and 2 mile) will travel through campus, causing lane closures and Metro Transit detours. Anticipate delays in the campus area from approximately 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
