Information
Hello all! Here’s some updated information about this blog. This post will be pinned so it can be found easily.
About
I created this blog so I could use my dashboard to remind myself to maintain healthy habits. I hope that it will help anyone that could use a reminder to take care of themselves now and then.
The reminders are automated. While at this point I have smoothed many of the technological issues out (and gained an unexpected level of coding knowledge in the process), things still may glitch from time to time. Please do not hesitate to contact me if something seems to have gone wrong with the automated reminders (like many repeated posts in a short span of time, etc.). With the blog mostly consisting of automated posts, it can take me a while to notice unanticipated technical difficulties without someone pointing them out.
Pages
Non-Reminder Posts - Anything which isn’t an automated reminder, such as announcements, asks, and self-care resources, will be tagged as “not a reminder”.
Announcements - Announcements about the blog will be tagged “note from creator”.
Hotlines and Resources - Lists of hotlines for various countries. Also available as a Dreamwidth entry. Posts will be tagged as “timelyreminder hotline resources”.
- U.S. Hotlines Post
- Canada Hotlines Post
- The U.K. Hotlines list is not yet a complete, so it’s only available on Dreamwidth and the Google site.
- International Suicide Hotlines Post (not mine)
Contact
I am happy to receive asks or submissions on this blog. If you want to privately message me, you are welcome to message my personal blog @thebiballerina, as Tumblr messaging does not work for this blog.

Promotion Policy
I am willing to boost posts about other blogs/projects, if I think they are in line with the theme and mission of this blog. I also welcome submissions of posts about self-care, community care, or mental health. If you have something you aren’t sure will qualify, you are always welcome to ask. I will generally not be sharing any posts requesting money, and I do my best to avoid sharing awareness posts that include guilt trips or an accusatory tone. If you think I’ve made a mistake sharing something in this regard, I welcome your input, but I make no guarantees I will concur with your assessment.
How to Support This Blog
I don’t request financial support for this blog. If you were hoping to support the blog in that way, I encourage you to support one (or more) of the artists listed in the “Artists” section below. If that doesn’t work for you, then you can always donate to one of the organizations listed in my “Hotlines and Resources” posts, one of your local crisis hotlines, or any other charitable organization that is important to you.
I currently have no plans to request or allow financial support for me personally. Anyone claiming to seek financial contributions on my behalf is fraudulent. If you see any such claims, please let me know.
For non-financial support, I would again encourage you to support the people in the “Artists” section; follow their blogs, reblog their posts, recommend them to others, or otherwise share information about their work.
More involved avenues of support include suggesting or contributing artwork to be used with one of the reminders, submitting self-care or community-care related posts, and helping add more information to the “Hotlines and Resources” page. I would especially appreciate assistance assembling hotline/resource lists for other countries that are not currently included.
Most of all, the best way to honor the mission of this blog is to care for yourself, your loved ones, and your communities. Especially if it includes offline activities; the whole point is to take a break in all that scrolling!
Artists
Some of the reminders include images from artists on Tumblr or elsewhere. All art is used with the full permission of the artist. Any posts with art will have links to the artists’ blogs. Please let me know if any of those links are broken.
The blog includes art from:
- M Sabal (fierce_invalids on Instagram and Twitter) (one of the meds reminders): See fierceinvalids.cardd.co for projects focused on disability justice, prison abolition, and accessibility in the music scene, including zines (FierceInvalids on Etsy) and a digital Cripple Punk Mag.
- @nardacci-does-art (one of the meds reminders): See the linked Tumblr blog for various art profiles and shops, including a Society6 shop.
- @howpeachyqueen (water reminder): Does commissions.
- @traitspourtraits (positivity reminder): An illustrator with lots of feminist and pastel artwork. See the linked Tumblr blog for various profiles and shops, including RedBubble.
- @1-newstart (sleep reminder)
- kipstar19 (on Instagram) (laundry reminder): Fan artist.
If you like the art, I encourage you to browse these artists’ pages, and consider supporting any shops or projects they may have.
Image descriptions were written with the much-appreciated assistance of @lumidaub. Please let me know if you have suggestions for updates, corrections, or reformatting of the image descriptions.
Reminder List
Here’s a list of all the automated reminders this blog posts, how frequently they post, their tags, and examples of each.

![Rest if you need to! Stay aware of what time it is. If you’re staying up late, it might be time to head to bed! A good night’s sleep is important to your mental and physical health. :)
