Name: Manny Rivera a.k.a. El Tigre
From: El Tigre; The Adventures of Manny Rivera
Appearance: http://www.cartoonbrew.com/wp-content/uploads/eltigre_title.jpg
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Personality: Manny is almost like any other thirteen year old boy. He wants to be manly and popular with the girls. He also enjoys playing videogames, hanging out with friends, and just acting like any hyper teenager. He has a bit of a rebellious streak and has a hard time following the rules set forth by adults.
But as I said, he is almost like any other thirteen year old boy. What is different about him? He is a part time super hero, part time super villain. He enjoys both being a hero and a villain but this does create quite a bit of conflict in his life. His Father is a Super Hero and his Grandfather is a Super Villain. Both hold him to the expectation of being great in their respective fields. Manny himself just wants to make them both proud of him but pleasing them both is rather hard. Not only does this cause him problems but he also makes a lot of enemies in other Super Villains.
The Rivera family has a lot of enemies it turns out. But he isn't really phased by it. To him it is all a fairly good time. He does have a deep connection with his family and they are pretty much his primary drive for everything. That and his random teenage rebellion.
Backstory: Manny was born and raised in Miracle City, a spicy cesspool of crime and villainy. He was given the tigre belt on his thirteenth birthday, which gave him the power to transform into El Tigre.
As I mentioned earlier, his father is a super hero and his grandpapi is a super villain. His mother is a Mariachi singer who travels most of the time but did stop traveling when she became the librarian in Manny's school. His best friend is Frida, who he has been friends with forever. The two are nearly inseparable. Frida isn't the best influence on Manny but they both have wonderful fun with each other. Manny has always had the pressure from both his Dad and his Grandpapi to choose a side, good or evil. He has fun doing both and at the moment hasn't shown any real indication on which way he will go.
He does fight crime but he will also commits them. His main motivation is making sure his family and his friends are happy and safe. He is a good kid deep down and cares for those close to him but he can be quite cruel to his enemies. He isn't the best student in school though and often slacks off or doesn't pay attention in class. He has gone on many adventures with Frida and his family and together they have saved Miracle City many times. Manny has also committed many crimes which has gotten him a pretty bad reputation with the police though he is still loved by many of the citizens due to his heroics.
Moral Standing: Manny hasn't completely aligned with either good or bad yet. He is more neutral in a sense of indecisiveness rather than any vow of neutrality.
Dreams: Manny's main dream is to be something great, whether it be a hero or a villain. He mainly just wants his family to be proud of him.
Fears: Manny's greatest fear is lose his family and friends. Without them he would be completely lost.
Extra: Manny is an animal lover. He also might have some abandonment issues once he realizes his Dad, Grandpapi, or Frida may never show up and probably latch onto anyone who can help fill those roles.

Writing Sample: Manny stared at his hands for a moment longer, blinking a few more times to make sure he wasn't hallucinating. He could have sworn a moment ago he looked a lot different. His body had looked like it had been made of ink and paint but he was normal now. He gave the rest of himself a once over, touching his belt to make sure it was still around his waist. Everything seemed okay. He looked behind him at the ink fountain and stared in wonder.
"I don't think I'm in Miracle City anymore." He turned around and started walking until he felt something under his foot. He lifted his shoe and spotted the small cellphone looking device. He picked it up and looked it over. He had always wanted a cellphone but his Dad wouldn't get him one. Manny looked the city square over but no one seemed to be there. "Finders keepers~" Manny hummed to himself and slipped the device in his pocket. Now he just needed to see if he could find his Dad, Grandpapi, or Frida. He took back out the cellphone and turned it on. Maybe there was a clue as to where he was on it.
