MEETING AT THE CHURCH.
[The church made the most sense, as a rendezvous, so once Page and Garma emerge from the depths of the residence's basement, they make their way over to it and wait outside for the rest of their group to return from their individual expeditions. Everything still seems...oddly quiet; it's more than likely that the other teams didn't manage to find any survivors either. Page isn't sure whether or not that bodes well.
Once everyone has returned, Page stands up before the group, holding a scrapbook and a diary. Her voice is calm, but authorative; she's clearly used to making speeches and giving directions.]
Now that we're all here, and we've established that there are no threats in the immediate vicinity, we should take some time to rest and share information. Garma and I went through that house on the hill; he found some supplies, so talk to him if you'd like some. I found these two books. The first is a scrapbook, containing some newspaper clippings about the Shimmer. The diary is a bit more interesting; it appears to have been written by the owner of the house, and documents his thoughts as the Shimmer slowly took the town over. The last entries are written in that incomprehensible script. If any of you would like to read them, you're more than welcome.
[And she'll place them on the ground beside her, for easy access and collection later.]
While we're here, I also think it would make sense to share if you were given anything unique by Vitali's team. I know someone has a map, for instance. Other than my guns and grenades, I personally don't have anything out of the ordinary other than a grappling hook.
[If that...counts as out of the ordinary, and all that.]
Lastly, I wanted to repeat what I said earlier, before we set off; Vitali told me that the last group who explored the Shimmer came across corrupted survivors, who attacked them. One of their group members lost their life in the process. She couldn't tell me what the remaining people did, to deal with the threat, but I'm working on the assumption that it involved bullets.
So if you happened to learn anything useful from her, before we left, now would be the time to let the rest of us know.
