Does anyone else still play Dragon Court? I've got a level 22 going on right now. I'm only on there like once a month but it just feels damn good to play it sometimes.

hey everyone. what's going on? how's things?
[identity profile] mogto.livejournal.com
Hey guys, Lathren/Lath here. I was completely surprised to have found this page. How is everyone doing? The only person I've talked to in the past 5 years from #am is Dia and I don't even remember when that was. Things got screwed up a good bit amongst ourselves, but I honestly miss all of you.

I apparently missed a reunion 3 years ago. We should try it again, eh?

Sooooo kids, I never post here because I'm a bad person and I should feel bad. But I was on Twitter tonight (Twitter is my friends' and my personal chatroom accessible by my ghetto-ass mobile, don't you know) and a bizarre news link* suddenly and very jarringly reminded me of Bag of Crushed Child.

Who remembers THAT glorious nonsense? :D

I remember Merrick & Friends made a BoCC video waaaay back when, but of course by now the only hints of its existence in actual video form I can easily find are a couple dead torrents. Does anyone still have this? I want to show it to the chica who posted said bizarre news link* and to whom I linked the original E2 page about BoCC because she's awesomely crazy like me and I think she would appreciate it. I also would watch it again myself, for nostalgic reasons, ahhh.

*The leap of logic to get from one item to the other is really not that large - it's about a brain in a bag, some kind of funeral home mix-up.

Merry Christmas! And those other holidays that I don't know how to spell!

Seems I'm the only one that posts shit on here, huh? :P
[identity profile] monkikuso.livejournal.com
It was a writing contest. I want to say it was called 'Two Minutes to Midnight'.

The basic premise was; it's 11.58pm, at midnight the world will end. Everyone will die. Everything will cease to exist. What do you do?

Please tell me SOMEONE remembers this!

Also, happy holidays!

dead chat.

It's been over six months of inactivity on here. How is everyone? What's new?

I don't know if anybody will see this for a while or remember me, which is fine - and the way things work. This is Arriana/Adriana/Kassandra/Kayleigh/whatever the hell else you may have been unfortunate enough to know me by. My honest-to-god blog is at http://believeintheflowers.blogspot.com and anyone who cares is free to read it - I tend to ignore my LJ accounts (I have two, neither of which I keep up) and wouldn't be on here if it weren't for having a "moment" and heading onto mIRC. Guess what - all of my names have deregged, what a surprise.

I still live in the Midwest, in Illinois, only I live with a couple more people. Remember ChronoT/Wert/Colin? We got married and have a son, with #2 on the way whenever he chooses to make his grand appearance (although I hear it might be in July). We've been together for nine years now. Yikes.

If anybody wants to, please, feel free to get a hold of me. I'm callable/textable (evil words) at 217.316.2319, can be reached on AIM as RaeshalMoonspell, on Yahoo! as adriana_456, and on MSN as apple_pie_superstar[@]hotmail.com. I'm searchable on Facebook as Kayleigh Stratton and I can be reached via email at either skiefangor[@]gmail.com (my main), or kayleighstratton[@]gmail.com.

We're doing okay. Colin works for Geek Squad and (hopefully soon) the KGB, and I work for Hewlett-Packard.

I better hear from at least someone. :P

This is so strange.

I was up tonight working on a few projects, and I decided to - out of random suggestion - google my old website name 'Talonhawk' or 'Talonshawk' to see what I'd find.

I was alarmed that I would even encounter an old carbon copy of my former website's HTML - bedazzled with broken links and all.

Perhaps more than that, I was touched by a great deal of humility upon realizing that a lot of people had connected and bonded a good part of their adolescent experience in my chatroom some years back.

Regardless, for those of you who were involved in my chat, or knew me, or perhaps only had fun scanning the site, or for whatever reason. For those who were a part of the community, like Ax or the person who was the head of the Chee Databass in the beginning - I wanted to thank you for making life fun in my first web experiences.

I'm doing good, right now. You can check out how I'm fairing at my (new) website - http://www.alyxandria.com

Though, I'll be honest with all of you. Despite the fact that I said I had a cooper's hawk on my website, I never really did. I just thought they looked cool :)

Hope life treats anyone who reads this spanky!

It's been ten years (and a few months) since I first joined the shitshow that was #animorphs in it's prime, and I miss it and everyone from it.

Just wanted to let everyone know I did what I said earlier, and made a mirror site. http://animorphs.lancewilkinson.com is now up, and while some links don't work, it's a start. Let me know if you have anything to add!

I'm also going to make a contact list for everyone incase you guys wanna keep in touch with eachother. Drop me a line and let me know you're info if you want to be on it!

I don't know about any of you, but around here (Massachusetts, bay-bee) the 3rd of July is a much bigger deal, at least party-wise, than the fourth. That being said, happy 3rd (and 4th!). Hope everyone is doing well and the like.

I'm pretty good. Not much new.

But anyways. I'm trying to make a copy or two of all the nostalgic shite from #am and related things. Does anyone have anything like that? Logs, pictures, websites, etc. I'm willing to host everything on my own website, so we can have a mirror of everything for all to see and download. Or just you guys. Whatever.

Let me know on here or email at lance -at- lancewilkinson -dot- com. Website is http://www.lancewilkinson.com btw.

Again, hope everything is good. I miss the shit out of you guys like always. Email (above) AIM it at monkikuso or call at 206.312.2856 and leave a message.

Love,
Toby

Anyone know who's maintaining AM Central right now? It's apparently hosted on Raistlin's website (well, his dragyn name) and I just realized it pulls up by googling my name and.. er.. I said stupid things, lol. Need to get it changed so it doesn't have my full name on there.

And ah, hi to everyone who doesn't have my LJ friended and sees my posts a couple times a week. o.o
[identity profile] thisfaith.livejournal.com
Was everyone aware that there is a facebook group devoted to Ax's and TalonHawk's chat members back in the day? Cause I sure as hell wasn't.

The address is:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6020819262

but you need an invite to join, I think.
[identity profile] monkikuso.livejournal.com
(Tobias-, Toby, Lance, whatever you wish to call me, I'm still here.)

Call it 60 days belated if you must, but happy 2008 everyone. Does anyone even read this?

I just found my /mirc folder and fired it up. Good to see the chat is still registered. Bad that I've been in there for four hours now and not a soul has shown up aside from some Superman| character, and he's not proving to be the most conversational person I've met.

Hope everyone's doing well. I'm alright, I work for the phone company. Got me an apartment (with my girlfriend), and everything's going pretty ducky. Little down in the dumps as of late, but winter does that to me. Some chemical thing, I'm guessing.

So yeah, I have an email address. monkikuso-at-gmail.com, if anyone wishes to say 'hi', assuming any of you remember me. Or AIM: monkikuso. You can also leave me a message on my fancy voicemail line. 1-206-312-2856.

I honestly miss you all, terribly. We had good times and you helped me to become the person I am today. Thank you.

Merrick M is optimistic about his future! Merrick M is not at all optimistic about his next twenty-six hours!
Merrick M entirely brought this down upon himself. He buttered his bread and now must sleep in it. Or not sleep, rather, because he procrastinated on his homework because he kept sitting down to do and then getting distracted because he has all the attention span of an OH LOOK PONIES, and now the homework which there is a rather lot of is due in twenty-six hours, eight of which will be at work and more of which will be at class (probably pretending to listen to the teacher while doing the project the same teacher assigned several weeks ago on my lappy) and it is going to be a long night and I'm gonna have to work really hard to not appear to exhausted in front of my managers who I really don't want to think I'm lazy and spacy and all the things I will be because I won't have gotten any sleep and even though time is totally of the essence right now, Merrick M is nonetheless still procrastinating and failing to focus, because I'm looking at the assembly code I need to debug and my mind insists on coming up with things like:

If the BBC had any sense they'd be selling sonic screwdrivers. Yes, yes, they already sell sonic screwdrivers that light up and make noises, in fact when the prop on the show kept breaking they realized how much sturdier the toy was and got pointers from the toy-maker people on how to build the props, but what they should develop is sonic screwdrivers that are basically along the same principles as the Wiimote, with Wifi and Bluetooth and motion detectors, with a little computer inside you can hook up to your real computer and program to interact with either your computer or any other Wifi or Bluetooth whatevers in any way they want. It's money in the bank, if you can construct it without stepping on any of Nintendo's patents. Lots of geeks are Doctor Who fans and you just know they'd- well, I know <i>I</i> would- buy these things and program them to do all sorts of stupid and useless yet kind of awesome shit and then be all "I just made toast on my Bluetooth-enabled toaster with my sonic screwdriver! I am totally a Time Lord!" BBC's merchandise department should totally hire me. Even if I'm not exactly British. It probably wouldn't be able to reattach barbed wire, though.

Wait, wasn't I supposed to be doing something? Some about assembly code and binary debugging? Is there a word for what's wrong with me? I don't think I actually have ADD or anything. . .

Oh, this next coming day is gonna be <i>so bad</i>, which I know intellectually but the reality hasn't quite set in yet though I am beginning to develop a preemptive headache.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. We'll just keep on trying 'til we run out of cake. . .

I HAZ A ZACH.

ALSO, I HAZ BROWNIE FROM ZACH.

life = good.

Zach: "Hooray! ::thumbs-up::"

So, yes, our beloved Scibert, [livejournal.com profile] zach_kw, is in my apartment, sitting on my couch, eating brownies his mommy made him. His mommy is very nice! I talked to her!

Do you have anything to add, Zach?

"I like cheez."

Unfortunately, he's staying with a lactose-intolerant. But, I will still buy him pizza!

"Pizza good. Pizza good! PIZZA GOOD!"

...so, I'm officially a little scared right now.

But still! If you are in the Chicago region right now ([livejournal.com profile] merrickm, we look towards you!), this is a once-in-a-[livejournal.com profile] reebchan-credit-card-lifetime offer to see your darling Zach! And your darling Reebie, too. But this is the once-in-a-lifetime chance to hear us sing duets together!

And, oh, we shall sing. Hee!

And now I have to go thwap a Scibert. Byes!
