Name:Math
Hello! I am an adult (a major instead of a minor) who reads wikis for fun, writes too many WIPs, still watches let’s plays of horror RPG Maker games, isn’t much of a user of the Oxford comma and appreciates the GameCube.

The major fandoms that I revolve around are Super Mario, Kirby, Minecraft and Super Smash Bros.—emphasis on Super Mario. I mostly write fan fiction, mainly gen and one-shots, but I also have some fan art here and there.

As for non-fannish interests, I’m mainly into video games (the history of, the technical aspects of, the niche communities of, et cetera), but I also enjoy horror, reading, drawing and watching YouTube.

Policies & Info

Basically all of my posts are public access, so I probably won’t give access as it wouldn’t really do anything. Subscribe and unsubscribe as you wish—no hard feelings here. I am fine with comments on older entries.

Spoilers abound here in general. If I’m talking about a subject, just assume that I’ll be freely discussing whatever happens in it, even if I don’t explicitly warn about spoilers. Most spoilers should be under a cut, however, as I put cuts on most of my posts.

I am incredibly finicky when it comes to organization and presentation, so if you see posts or tags receive minor edits or big overhauls, that’s why.

I am fine with constructive criticism (just be gentle) and appreciate comments of all types (short, long, text, emojis, et cetera).

Blanket Statement

I am fine with podfics, translations, remixes, art, fiction and other works being made based off of my works—there is no need to ask me for express permission. In return, all I ask is that I be credited for my work, preferably with a link to the original work but just saying my username (exempli gratia, “original work by supermario128 on Dreamwidth”) is also fine. If I have credited others for inspiration, help, et cetera, I also ask that they be credited as well. I would also like to be given a link (if available) to what is created so that I can see it, but this is not necessary.

I am fine with my works being downloaded, printed or archived (such as with the Internet Archive, et cetera) as long as you are not trying to claim my works as your own—there is no need to ask me for express permission. If you are reuploading a work that I have previously deleted, I would prefer to be anonymized (exempli gratia, “the creator wished not to be named”), but this is not necessary. Please retain credit to those that I have credited for inspiration, help, et cetera.

I do not give permission for my works to be used for commercial/for-profit purposes. Therefore, I do not give permission for generative AI models to be trained on my work.

If you have any questions about any of this (or have any while podficcing, translating, et cetera), feel free to ask.

TL;DR: As long as you give me (and whoever else I have listed) credit for my work and don’t sell my work, go ham. Ask me if you need clarification.

Here are some badges that I’ve earned from Dreamwidth communities.
