General Ingame Character Info For Eway Type Stuff
this one's slightly a mess, I really need to go through and redo some stuff
The Basics/First Impressions

Lapis is a magic rock projecting a hard-light body around itself. Obviously, she's blue and clearly not human at a glance. Her "outfit" never changes, by the way, unless she specifically decides to temporarily alter it for whatever reason. Her gemstone can be found embedded in her back, as per the icon on this post. The body is replaceable, but damage to the gem is A Big Deal.
She can control water. She can control water real good. Sometimes she flies around on wings made of water, which absolutely shouldn't work.
In demeanor, Lapis can vary quite a bit depending on who she's dealing with, how she's approached, and her general mood. She's capable of being nice, but if she doesn't feel like making that much effort she'll be totally unapologetic about it, and she's just as capable of being a dick. Still, while she can be temperamental, most of the time she's just kinda drily aloof and uninvested. Her body language tends towards tense and guarded habitually. This never comes up in Eway, partly because she's constantly stressed out, but she's got a good sense of humor and in fact a playful side. Please make her laugh. :(
Current Canonpoint: Somewhere before Can't Go Back, which is to say, she was sitting on the moon being a creeper and feeling bad about herself. In Eway, however, there've been a lot of future spoilers and other shenanigans of that sort, so she has a pretty good knowledge of what happens later.
Life In Eway
Losses:
Words:
- "Beta," from Peridot's Kindergarten event
- "Artifact," from her own I Have No Mouth And I Must Etc event
Lapis lives in floor 9 room 25, having naturally moved in with Peridot. (There's no need to room together in Eway which has infinite housing, but there's also no real reason not to for gems, who have no biological needs and little concept of personal property. I like it.) Claude the kittencat is also there. The interior of the room resembles their barn back home because Peridot is adorable.
Things Lapis has done to the room:
- Enlarged the window so she can jump out it more readily.
- Because of the difficulty in finding the right window from outside, Lapis
bullied Torielacquired a big colorful flag to mark it with. It helps! - There is a toilet. It's for home defense purposes.
- Her general lack of possessions or personal touches in the living space raised some problems, so Lapis was behooved to add something that could not possibly be Peridot's under any circumstances. Thus, consider: the Rose Quartz portrait only it's Paulette
Day To Day Activities:
She dislikes the mansion's evil-magic-mirror-based interior design aesthetic, but these days she doesn't have so much actual difficulty with it. Still, there honestly aren't that many places inside the mansion she wants to go that often, and hanging around outdoors instead or staying holed up in the room is a habit. Lapis doesn't really have any hobbies or routine activities, she can be seen flying around aimlessly more than anything. By some miracle, she has taken up sleeping completely independently of her canon self having done the same.
Likewise, she's perfectly willing to use video on the network these days, but the detached distance of text is still kind of comforting sometimes and she may use it to hide from feelings.
Lapis's Mirror is one of the nicer ones! Not actually a good person, but basically friendly and unlikely to be dangerous without a reason. She can get a bit pointlessly catty and passive-aggressive, though, mainly stemming from bitterness about her existence. And she is still very biased against other Mirrors, albeit currently she's open to the possibility that maybe a couple of them don't suck.
