Challenge: The Spokes of the Hub
Notes: This chapter has taken quite a while to write - mainly because there are parts of it that hit home to me in a big way… and partly because I have moved to a new Chromebook and Google Docs. Getting used to this new program and OS has been interesting.
Soujiko is essentially me in every aspect except the whole ability to take care of her loved ones and the stable of willing partners - I have only one, and that is all I need. (I try, but I wouldn’t be able to face down a monster and come out the winner.) I find myself putting more and more of my thought processes, values, and mannerisms into her character. I suppose that’s what an Avatar is, and it can be cathartic in a weird way, but also quite scary. Maybe I’m putting too much of myself into this ...
