[[Yeah, deciding things like that is tricky! With UT there's the obviously not innate magic of summoned items (Undyne's spears that need repair kits, Mad Dummy's replaceable dummies, the attacks Alphys and Mettaton share), and yet Vulkin's over there thinking they can heal (and unable to do so) - some innate aptitudes, but some stuff that can be learned/built. While in FF9, we've got the folks w/ horns w/ the knack for summoning and yet Kuja can do it too, and whatever allows magic is something he can manufacture into the black mages, and yet Zidane's over there with hardly a spell to his name... Mysteries. vOv]]

A regular natural, huh?

[It's said a little teasingly, with a trace of envy - great as Papyrus is now, he put a lot of practice in his skills, especially the ones for the fine control not to injure his brother. Not one he regrets learning, by any means, but it took time.]

But what kind of magic is harder with snow around...? Not fire magic, right?

Call it a talent! Or.. call it cheating. Some column one, some column two.

It's a little spell called 'Break.' It's not hard to cast when it's cold out, exactly-- it's because of how we'll be using it.

You see, Break isn't actually what I wanted to teach you today. [ ooooor any day, that one's a little too dangerous for him to want to be handing out like a coupon ] It's just.. lighting the specific fire we want to put out. I want to show you how to fix what it does, because hopefully, it'll work when something similar happens again.

'Break', huh... I hope that isn't a break a bone spell.

[Nyeh heh heh, it's a theater joke. But seriously, he's giving a bit of a skeptical look after that name. Didn't Kuja open this conversation talking about healing magic? Don't tell him they're actually going to break bones to get Papyrus healing them, or something. They're harder to see and fix when they're on the inside!]

Not quite that.

It's not a very nice spell. [ he sure understands that now more than ever! well, time to spit out the important bit-- ] It turns things to stone. It's called Break, because, well.

[ Kuja's doesn't need to call attention to the three red, young feathers on his head for them to be noticeable right now. ]

Things do become more delicate in such a state. Meanwhile-- the spell I'll show you to counter it is called Stona.
