I've had a little bit of a disjointed voyage with the Merlin fandom. I started out with the beginning I mean the real beginning back at the beginning of Season 1, I was there from the start. I can remember when there were only a few authors and it was downright tiny. Well, for some reason I drifted and missed a whole chunk of it. Most of season two I think. No ones fault but my own. I just got distracted. The result being I've missed a whole lot of fic and squee and assorted other things. So this rec I have coming is probably something most people have already read but is completely new to me.

Omg, people this fic ate my brain yesterday. Modern AU Arthur is a high end prostitute and Merlin is well just Merlin. I mean Prostitute!Arthur and Brokenhearted!Merlin and both so in love with the other that it is completely unreasonable. And I really can't find one part I like to quote or describe because it was basically all of it. In short, go read it!
