🌍 What happens when thousands of sustainable commutes add up?  At ESET, we've just wrapped up another successful Commute.Protected. campaign, which is our annual global initiative that encourages colleagues to choose greener ways of getting to work. 🚶♀️🚲🚌    📊 2026 Campaign Highlights:  ∙ 22,045 km by bike - enough to cycle from Bratislava to Buenos Aires and back.  ∙ 55,873 km by public transport - the clear champion this year. Our public transport riders covered enough distance to circle the planet 1.4 times.  ∙ 2,812 km on foot - about three quarters of the way from Bratislava to Madrid.   ∙ 2,798 km by carpooling - that's almost the straight-line distance from Košice to Lisbon. ∙ 16,062 kg CO₂e saved - equivalent to the weight of about three adult elephants. That's a big footprint reduction for one month.  ∙ 325 kg CO₂e saved through carpooling - our newest category made an immediate impact, saving the equivalent weight of four average adults in emissions.  ∙ 959 kg CO₂e saved by one colleague - almost one full ton, or about the weight of a small car. A true Commute.Protected. champion.    But the campaign isn't just about the numbers. It's about building habits that are better for our environment, our cities, and ourselves.
