THE GIRL: Courtney; 1982. Hanover, VA. Leo on Virgo cusp, and it shows. Opinionated and not afraid to let you know what I think. Loner by nature and by choice, I prefer a small, select group of friends to lots of acquaintances. You'll find me a wallflower at parties, on the off occasion I show up at one. I follow horse racing with a rabid attentiveness, and you'll find quite a few rants on breeding, racing, and auctions here. Music snob, particularly Scandinavian metal. To be more specific, Finnish metal. Inked and craving more, I have 6 tattoos - a tribute to a band, a tribute to my WWE fandom, a dragon, a celtic knot, and two tribal vines. Another dragon is in the works. No piercings, but I want my eyebrow and my lip. I drive a big truck, and I act like it. I'm bigger than you; move.

THE JOURNAL: sisu is a Finnish word generally translating to 'strength & perseverance". It is a concept that applies to various aspects of my life, from riding horses to my Grave's Disease to whatever else gets thrown in my path, for whatever limited time I have here
