Barbara Kruger (born January 26, 1945) is an American conceptual artist.[1] Most of her work has a black and white background with red blocks which contain white writing. She mostly uses the font and Futura Bold Italic. She is known for her critical messages about society and is heavily influenced by the feminist art movement.
