Hello Dreamwidth!
Me at a glance
Hi there, you can call me Lunar! Or shopfront, or hey you, I'm not that fussy.
The basic summary of fangirl me is that I'm broadly multi-fandom and multi-shipping with a focus generally on femslash and female characters with a handful of die-hard het and slash ships. I particularly love feminist, queer, historical, fantasy, sci-fi, and superhero themed media and fandoms, and I'm trying to get more into book fandoms but generally tend to focus on TV fandoms. I go through bouts of inactivity and lurking depending on my RL situation, though I'm returning after a long hiatus so that may change.
RL me is thirty-something married lesbian, and Australian but currently living in London. I will sometimes write about mental health and food (usually under cuts), love to cook and share food restriction friendly recipes, and have an interest in original creative writing and photography. But mostly this account is all fandom almost all the time.

For people already on my access list on:
Currently only using a filter to talk about my writing progress and goals, which is open to anyone who is interested so just let me know if you want in.
For people who haven't met me before:
I generally only lock things that are either personal/sensitive or contain some form of RL information I don't want open to google. The rest of my RL stuff and pretty much all my fandom stuff is public except for the above filters.
If you'd like access or feel free to request it at any time, I generally reciprocal subscribe/access. If you HAVE access but want to only see my fandom things, feel free to also ask me to de-access you at any time. If I've missed reciprocal adding you (which can happen if I'm busy offline, it's a busy friending meme season, or I'm not monitoring my inbox closely so please don't feel shy!) and you want to get to know me feel free to poke me here and ask me to add you back.
Generally speaking I'd love for my feed to be busier, so feel free to say hello or make a request here at any time!

And I'm afraid I'm a mutual subscription addict, and we do have some great fandoms in common, so it's a pleasure to add you back. :D

Noticed we have a lot of shows in common(watched An Education the other day too, and loved it to bits). Wondering if you've ever seen The Good Wife? I think you would really enjoy it.

Arrived this week by way of the Write Every Day gallery (I am a
holmestice regular, several others among the regulars here also fit that category, and I am trailing along in hopes of improving my productivity in the near term).
About me: started reading the Oz books very early in grade school and have kept branching out since. Many geek credentials in SF/fantasy circles, plus interests in Sherlock Holmes (most flavors), Shakespeare and musical theater (as soon as it's medically advisable to go back, and on video till it is), stage magic, folk music, regional history, and the occasional baking of cookies (ask
sanguinity, who's owed a batch). Native Oregonian; permanent non-driver (trust me, it's better that way). I have a zero-year birthday coming up end of November.
Current fannish interests: the new Carmen Sandiego series on Netflix (season 3 just dropped); the various new Star Trek series on CBS All Access (I quite like Discovery but have mixed feelings about Lower Decks). And if the brand-new Disney+ teen flick The Secret Society of Second-Born Royals gets a Yuletide nomination (I have no clue how likely that may be), I may offer for it.
We have some other fandoms in common as well; I've written for Agent Carter and various iterations of Doctor Who, for instance. (And did you know there's an ongoing blog-series going on at Tor.com on the DS9 Relaunch novels? Well worth a look if not; note that the page lists entries in reverse chrono order, with the newest at the top.)
