Some people adapt to life in The Box faster than others. Some never adapt at all. Others? Well... Others develop defense mechanisms to deal with the reality of their new lives. People like Jake. Jake is known by most Box inhabitants as 'The Fixer'. No. That isn't some kind of hidden meaning. He just fixes things. It's what he does. While other people are looking for a way out or searching for supplies, he spends his time fixing damaged buildings, statues and other things.

Jake is a fixer and fixing is what he does. It's just a shame he can't fix himself. If you ever go into the Museum in Southtown you might stumble across him. Sitting up on a shelf, having a friendly chat with a massive stuffed cougar. His name is Gary, and no, he doesn't bite. But touch him and Jake will shoot you.

Stop breaking shit. I'm going to be doing repairs on this theater for weeks. I don't get paid to do this you know. Who do you think makes it so you get to keep watching shit when everything is said and done. And does anyone ever say thanks?
