Wherever Venom's been, it looks like he's been busy. After wandering off awhile ago, he's returned-and come bearing food.

Of a sort.

Venom drops the remains of the once animate and still rather large chocolate bunny on the floor of the kitchen with a thud (and possibly a bit of a splatty-type sound; chocolate and the sun don't always mix well) and looks around, announcing to whoever might be present, "We think we may be in need of a freezer." He pauses. "Or three."

There is a rabbit, seated on the counter of the kitchen, beady red eyes glaring at venom. "We think you might be in need of a drool rag."

"We're afraid it's a byproduct of our teeth." That, or he's lying and just likes to freak out people even more by adding something extra to the teeth and tongue combo.

Venom pauses again as he looks at the rabbit, looks at the ex-chocolate bunny, then looks back at the rabbit. "...We also think you might want to avoid the front door."

"We're afraid we got a little carried away with ourselves."

Translation: there's more bunnies where this one came from, and they're in similar mangled shape. (Particularly the heads, for whatever reason.)"We only brought this one inside because it seems to be melting faster."

Venom pauses. "You hid eggs?" He stops again, considering this. Eggs. Small, fluffy rabbit. Recent egg-and-chocolate focused holiday. "...we expect this would be the point where you say you are, in fact, the Easter Bunny."

She settles for a mildly disapproving look cast Venom's way, followed by a rueful glance to her bare feet. Shoes don't last long when she shifts up, but sometimes they are useful nonetheless. Like when some bastard's got melted chocolate all over the tile. Just as an example.

Venom shrugs, heading back towards the front of the house. "We wouldn't mind. Our main concern is keeping them from melting...and making sure the few we left alive remain that way."

Hey, why kill off a perfectly good source of chocolate and brains in one package when you could let them breed like...well, rabbits?

"Five of them. We killed six others, counting this one." He gestures at the said bunny-it's roughly the same size as a medium-sized dog. "We should probably go after them again later, to be sure nothing else eats them...and that they find shade before they melt."

And this would be the reason why chocolate-based lifeforms generally don't exist.
