Mac, out for a stroll, has to squint against the sun to make out that it's a person on the roof and not some really esoteric weathervane. When he figures that out, though, he waves up at her.
Mac considers that an invitation, and gives another wave. "Okay, just a tick."
He heads around to the other side of the farmhouse to where a piece of corrugated sheet metal had been once used to make repairs. He drops into Morphus just long enough to press his hand against the metal. Then he's nothing but a blue spark shooting up the side of the building.
At the top, the spark arcs out and returns Mac to Morphus, which he quickly sheds in favor of Facade in order to cross the rest of the distance back to the young woman's location.
This is why Rachel loves Lucy. Because she thinks the mix-up is funny.
Grinning at her, Rachel shrugs a bit. "It was, until he tried to hug me. He still doesn't know he met me before, though. Anyway," she shakes her head quickly, trying to focus, "that's not the point. There's a creepy church in Texas that's grabbing groups of people and... well, I don't know what they're doing with them."
Jake would call this 'terrible recon.' Rachel calls it all the recon she had to do before going to work.
"Want to go put the fear of God in them and tear the tops off of buses?"
"Not that we're really staying here," Sokka carries on, quite satisfied with Lucy's level of talkativ...ity. "Claire and me, and Toph and Suki when they bother, we've got some rock huts outside the farm's borders. We didn't want to be in the way."
Read: Sokka didn't want to be around his older self who so clearly scorns him.
"'Cept they all went off, even Toph. Not Claire. She stayed." He loves Claire SO MUCH. "I didn't think Toph would."

"G'day! Comfy?"
no subject
"Yes."
Lucy is a woman of few words. Very few.

"Hi," he says again once he joins her.

"Hi."
Beat.
"I'm Lucy. Farm's mine."
This is by way of introduction.

...on the roof and in the air.
A dragon perches on the roof beside Lucy, and shortly Lucy is perched beside Lucy.
"Hey," she greets, business-like even as dark curly hair turns long and blonde and straight. "I need some help. Are you busy?"
no subject
Sniff, sn--
"You met Tom."
It's an observation, in her usual slightly distant tone.
no subject
"A while ago. And then earlier today. He doesn't know it's me, though."
"I was kind of... you. At the time."
no subject
"Good trick."

By the magic of narrative convenience he was hidden from and did not previously notice Lucy! Or something.
"Oh! Hi. You're the dragon lady, right?"
no subject
Nod.

He feels like he's in everyone's way. Even his own. His other self went off without him. :(

OK technically Crobat hangs from, rather than sits on, but!
It is currently inspecting (from a safe distance) the new roof occupant.
"....bat?"
no subject
Confusedface.
"Hello?"
no subject
It flaps up, hovering a bit away. "Crobat bat! Cro crobat?"
no subject
Lucy giggles.
no subject
"...cro?" This human is weird. "Bat batcrobat."
