I'm going to start by saying thank you for sticking around. There has been a fair bit of behind the scenes discussion about the community and where we would like to see it going. We are hoping to get some activity and to start things off, we thought a general recs post would be a great way to begin.

So, let's see what you've got to share. Let's make it simple, two fic recs, one authored by yourself and one by someone else. (If you don't write, that's cool, put up two recs by others.) Your recs can be recent or you can dig back in the past, they can be long or short, big fandoms or little fandoms, whatever you think is worth sharing.

I'll start with an old one from back when I was still dabbling in writing fic. It' from my first online fandom Angel. This one is a Gunn/Fred/Wes ficlet set during season four, To Be A Lion. It's not perfect by any means, but I got impatient waiting for someone else to write it. *g*

This rec is from the Stargate universe, which I got into via SGA. It's Rodney/John/Sam and if you prefer podfic format it is also available as a podfic. I never really had the time to put the work I wanted to into this community, and now I have even less time. Rather than let it just rot away in complete neglect (what a waste of a good username!), I thought I may as well give someone a chance to take it over if they'd like.
