💥💥 So my anxiety is peaking and I am still freaking out randomly.

It doesn't help that I am also sick as hell with chest, throat, and sinus issues.

The disability train is still moving along and I finished the first stack of paperwork that they sent my way. I'm just waiting for the next steps.

I'm doing what I can to get other sources of revenue for meds and other essentials, but I need help. I can't get food stamps because I am technically still employed and I only qualify for women's health coverage for NC Medicaid. I have refills on meds coming up that I need, and a few other things to make life a bit easier.

I'm stressed and this is doing nothing for my anxiety and my depression telling me I am worthless and useless as a contributing member of my household and society in general. I hide a lot from everyone because my emotions are all over the place.

I'm scared. I feel unmoored and just completely useless and like I have no worth.

Please, if you can donate to help, or share to boost the signal, the links are as follows:

I'm working on some books, but it's slow with the issues with my hands and my laptop isn't always considerate or helpful with Google voice to text. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to connect my voice recorder to transcribe to my laptop.

(I so need to win the lottery or something as I need to replace this so I can use Dragon or something. I miss being able to build desktops and my friends who had all kinds of laptops that we could re-do to work better.)

If you can donate or even boost the signal I would greatly appreciate it.

I hate that I keep asking, but I really appreciate any help.
I’m in need of funds for food, for my meds, doctors, and tests, for these doctor visits, and for anything additional they think they want to try.

Thank you so much, guys. for whatever you can do. I love and appreciate any donation or shares.

💙💙 I love you all so much for everything. 💙💙

I'm needing to get a few things purchased but am still struggling with the healing ankle and the really frustrating job search. I'm incredibly stressed at the not being able to purchase some of the things I absolutely need for day to day functioning.

I did something like this a few years ago and below the cut is a tentative price list.

Dear Yuletide Writer,

Thank you for wanting to write in one of my fandoms. Yuletide is one of my favorite things during the year and I am always so happy to participate. I've also been told that I'm easy to please when it comes to writing for me. I hope you find that to be true!

I wouldn't even be asking for monetary help from the internet if I didn't need it. However, I've seen how much good it can do when someone really needs help. I tried selling usernames for all of the journal platforms like some people did, but I only managed to sell one and trade five.

Things are getting desperate for me. I didn't buy my meds this week because I couldn't afford them.

I'll be writing poetry, fic or doing tarot card readings in exchange for donations.

I really need the money guys or I'm about to lose my internet and my cell phone.

Prices vary, but for every dollar, I will write a line of self-contained poetry. More than that and you will get fic with two of your characters that I will try to write to your specifications. Tarot readings start at $5 for a three card pull and go up from there.

Please help, guys. I really need any assistance that I can get.

If you just want to do donations, my paypal is [email protected]

No joke, guys. I really need any kind of assistance that you can spare for me.

Please help and please boost the signal.

Thank you,
Mylia

Dear Yuletide Writer,

First of all, thank you for wanting to write in one of my fandoms. Yuletide is one of my favorite things during the year and I am always so happy to participate. Second of all, while I have participated in Yuletide for the last few years, this is actually the first letter I have written for it.

Likes: Shippiness, friendship, slice of life, angst with a hopeful or happy ending, hurt/comfort, protectiveness of each other, people acting outside of their comfort zone, road trips, secret lives. AUs that don't change who the characters are, strong female characters, future fics

Dislikes: Mpreg, non-con, character bashing, shaming of anything, gratuitous violence, body functions kinks

I also like shipping of characters and do tend more toward het or femmeslash pairings. I don't like canon AU ships that come about by bashing another character or doing character assassination of a character to get to a chosen ship. I like well-done threesomes and moresomes. I like the natural progression of relationships.

If You See Her/Colters' Legacy/Primeval: New World/Secret Circle (TV)/Black Ships/Fast and the Furious )

The thing I want you to remember the most is to not stress over it and have fun with whatever you write for me. I'm pretty laid back as far as what I get and I promise I will be thrilled to get anything written for any of these choices.

Day Nine

In your own space, create a fanwork. A drabble, a ficlet, a podfic, or an icon, art or meta or a rec list. A picspam. Something. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I wrote this this morning to put in [personal profile] sexycazzy's [community profile] fandom_stocking.

Day 8

In your own space, talk about setting yourself a fannish goal. Big or small, it doesn't matter. Some examples: complete a bingo, sign up for a Big Bang, write that fic you've been thinking about for years, podfic that story that you love, make a fanmix for your fandom, post that bit of meta or reclist you keep putting off. Maybe resolve to be better at leaving feedback or answering comments. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

It's taken me a day or two to decide how I was going to approach this one.

I think the fannish goals I'm going to set are the following three:

* Make a pretty master post of my fan fic.
* Write two of the sequels to previous big bangs that have been a bunch of notes and thoughts on my computer.
* Get and POST a bingo on one of my bingo cards.

Day 7

In your own space, share something non-fannish about yourself. A passion or a hobby or a talent, something that people might not know about you. We are more than just our fandoms. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I'm a writer and a reader. I'm also an amateur Egyptologist. I love everything about Ancient Egypt. I was never able to go to school for it, but the study of the ancient world has always been my passion. I will watch documentaries about Egypt or some aspect of history no matter how bad they are. However, I have been known to yell about the inaccuracies to the screen.

An example of this was when a very good friend and I went to see King Arthur when the movie came out in theaters. We were both critiquing the history and she the fighting styles.

Don't even get me started on what happened when a friend and I went to see the first Mummy movie. She was military and so critiqued the weaponry and stances. I told her why some of the things they were saying and doing would never work.

These are two of my favorite movies, but it took me awhile to set my brain to suspended disbelief to just enjoy the movie. :D

Day 6

In your own space, pimp three comms or challenges and explain why you love them. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Oh wow, this one is a hard one because there are several that I love.

1. [community profile] yuletide -- I love this challenge so much. It happens every year around the holidays and the participants get matched up with each other to write specifically for a fandom they have requested, I love having the chance to write stories for people that they want and most of the people are just as excited to be involved and I.

2. [community profile] musing_way -- This is a muse community where you answer prompts that are posted weekly as a fandom or original character. Not only does it give you a chance to delve deeper into your character, but the mod is such a sweetheart. She really cares about the people that interact there and she does her best to make everyone feel involved.

3. [community profile] dailyprompt -- This community is a great one because even if I don't participate all of the time (something I plan to change this year) I love seeing the daily prompt. Sometimes I jot ideas down when I see the prompt and it helps to challenge me.

Day 5

Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or consume different fanworks. Give that new fandom a go. Listen to a podfic or watch some vids if you haven’t before. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it.

So, for Day 5, I wrote something with a character that I hadn't ever written before to fulfill a wishlist request for my friend, [personal profile] settiai.

Fantasy.

It's a ficlet from the point of view of Doyle from Angel: The Series.

Day 4

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.

1. I would love a journal header and matching icon of Cole/Phoebe from Charmed. They are and always will be my favorite OTP.

2. Icons or other graphics of my OC, Mace Graham, with or without her SO, Fee. (PB for Mace is Jessica Steen and her girlfriend's PB is Danielle Panabaker.)

3. A fanmix for Lestat/Jesse from the movie, Queen of the Damned.

4. Graphics or music for any of my OC's, RPG characters or fic.

5. Anything on my Fandom Stocking

6. More people to read and comment on my fic, linked up above, because I would love some constructive criticism or comments so I know what I'm doing right or wrong.

Day 3

Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before or introduce yourself to someone you've interacted with and friend/follow them. Afterwards, leave a comment in this post with the equivalent of "I did it!"

Yep, managed to do this yesterday -- and for two different people, too.

Day 2

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.

1. Changed Fates. In this fic that is a rewrite of the first Transformers movie, Mikaela takes center stage,

2. A Place Without Expectation. I really enjoyed this story of how those "forgotten" or set lose would feel and how they could make the unlikely of friends.

3. A Year Of Women. I love the Jurassic Park books and movies, and loved this fic. It's a fic about 12 chapters of women that have shaped Dr. Alan Grant's life.

1. My most recent finished fic is Truth Comes In The End (Virgil's Aeneid) which I penned for this year's [community profile] yuletide challenge.

2. Written for last year's Small Fandom Big Bang was Wishing Only Wounds The Heart. At the end of the first movie, Mia is left behind to pick up the pieces of her life.

3. My first attempt at Star Wars fic with the idea of what if Leia found out who her father during her time on Tatooine trying to save Han? A Bond Unbroken
