𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀? That’s the question SWEP and TERRABARRIER set out to answer together. Now, they’ve developed and validated a new approach to corrosion resistance that works 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘪𝘵𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧, rather than as a surface coating, making it possible to use stainless steel in applications that usually demand titanium or nickel-based alloys. Real-world field testing with selected SWEP customers in geothermal, seawater, and hydrogen-related applications is about to begin. SWEP is proud to publish the 2025 Sustainability Report. During 2025, SWEP continued to make progress across environmental, social and governance topics: ✔ Reduced Scope 3 emissions intensity ✔ Reduced water intensity ✔ Increased renewable electricity usage ✔ Maintained strong employee engagement ✔ Achieved 100% completion of mandatory Code of Conduct training   The report also introduces updated sustainability ambitions and priorities that will guide SWEP's work towards 2030. Diana, Katarina, Judita, Zdenka, Zuzana and Viera are female employees at SWEP who have all chosen engineering as their career path. Today they are working in different engineering functions at SWEP Kosice in Slovakia, as Quality Engineer, Spare parts administrator, Technical Sales Support and Lead Process Engineer.
