I can finally relax with some friends.
I'm getting too old for this.
I'm beginning to wonder if I belong on the net at all. I wish the software to unify the net and turn it into one big tasteless pulp suitable only for adware content had never been invented. It seemed so handy and convenient, but when a person deviates from a norm it can get really uncomfortable in a hurry.
This place seems really nice. I can finally settle down to making a layout and uploading icons. I want to take a good look around first and catch up on some fic that I've been neglecting.
Then I'll finally deal with these plotbunnies. Funny, when I came to LJ two months ago, writing fic and putting it in the right comm was all I was thinking about. Then chaos and privacy hell. Last thing I needed, really... so I'm glad to be here.

"For those of you who dislike the new facebook/twitter crossposting option, I am posting a link to [info]delaese 's instructions on how to code them out. She also includes options on how to disable the pingback bot to give you the maximum privacy a global public website can provide.

ETA: I've just found out that LJ will be removing the crossposting option (yay!) because of widespread ick. It may take a month, might be sooner. I'm looking forward to it."
And so am I!
