I mean, I was reading LotR fic before bed. Why in the world did I dream of Rich Ryan, in full Victorian grande dame drag (seriously -- hairstyle, makeup, brocaded full length gown)... fighting someone else in much the same get-up? And winning, I might add. My brain, guys, is clearly a strange place!

Sounds like something that got cooked up by the Richie Reserve for the HL-Fiction List War back in 1998 or 99-- my Internets connection was spotty, but I seem to recall something about Richie losing a bet? and having to attend the Masquerade in drag..... I think.....
