- Telekinesis: Force users can lift and manipulate objects. They can also use these to give themselves heightened combat abilities, such as jumping higher.
- Telepathy: Force sensitive people can sense the general “signature” of people, such as their presence and their general surface level emotions.
- Mind tricks: Rey has been shown to use “mind tricks,” or tricking weak-willed individuals into believing or following a command they wouldn’t normally follow.
- Precognition and Force Visions: The Force sometimes allows individuals to sense things before they happen and may even give individuals visions of the past or future. These visions are not necessarily absolute.
- Force healing: the transfer of life energy to a person, animal, or object. Rey uses this to heal a broken kyber crystal which powers her lightsaber. Use of this power takes a toll on the user.
- Force lightning: Conjuring an electrical attack that can harm individuals. Rey will likely not use this if she can help it, as it's only happened once in an extremely intense moment.
- Force Dyad: Rey and Kylo are a “dyad,” meaning their Force powers are shared generally and amplified when they specifically fight together. They can communicate and appear to each other across great distances, although they don’t have full control over when this communication happens. They can see, touch each other, feel each others’ emotions, anticipate the other’s movements, and even pass objects between them.

Disposition:
Brave: Although she is a bit of a reluctant hero, being a self-claimed nobody from nowhere, Rey is always trying to do the next right thing. She'll pick up a weapon (even one that she's never used before) to defend herself or her friend in a fight or charge at someone she knows is much more powerful than her rather than back down or be cornered. While she'll ask for other's help if she thinks it's warranted, she's not afraid to step up and fight alone if they aren't willing and go by herself if she thinks it's too dangerous for others. Despite the hardships Rey has faced in her life, Rey remains overall a hopeful and optimistic person, relying on her own hope and stories of legends from across the galaxy. Even though she was left on Jakku as a child, she strongly maintained that her family was coming back from her.
Impulsive: Rey could probably stand to moderate her bravery, or at least think her plans through even a little bit first. She has a tendency to run into situations with her saber or staff already in hand, even if it’s objectively not the best approach. Action almost always comes before thinking, sometimes with amusing conclusions (assuming smoke was an attack on a nearby village and accidentally crashing a party) or drastic (shipping herself to the First Order flagship, forcing Kylo into a confrontation that he may have not been truly ready for). Particularly risky is her nasty habit of running off alone, assuming she is the only one equipped to deal with any given threat.
Compassionate: Rey’s as self-serving as she needs to be to survive on Jakku, but we still see a couple key examples of her going out of her way to show compassion to others. She has a strong sense of moral goodness, and throws her support behind the Resistance and finds herself at the forefront of freedom in the galaxy in large and small ways. She refuses to trade a Resistance droid for an almost unbelievable amount of rations (extremely valuable to a desert scavenger).
Lonely: Deep down, though, Rey misses and wants her family. She is a lonely girl searching for a place to belong in the galaxy. Being a lone Force user, she feels a little bit out of place among the Resistance. Although she's defensive when Kylo points out that she is constantly looking for substitute parents in everyone she meets, she later admits that she felt desperately alone when the Force refused to show her a vision of her family. Rey guards herself from being hurt by convincing herself to believe in stories or lies that she's constructed to make her life a little more bearable. She holds onto hope that her parents will come back for her. Against literally all good and valid information, she flies herself without backup, without a plan, and without even talking to Kylo with only the hope that she can turn him. In some ways, she's even invented the identity "Ben Solo" as someone separate from Kylo Ren as a way to curb the dissonance she feels from having compassion for someone who calls themself a monster.
Survivalist: Rey is resourceful and tough, having kept herself alive for many years on Jakku. Everything she's done is self-taught, and Rey isn't going to let inexperience get in the way of her doing things from piloting starships to picking up a lightsaber or using mind tricks to escape captivity. She’s not bogged by balance or thinking Jedi should act without emotion, which is clear in her fighting style. She fights fiercely and passionately for what she believes in, even if it doesn’t look like the harmonious balanced approach the previous Jedi strove for.
Suitability: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi actually only take place over a couple of days/weeks — so Rey is coming from a point where she's had her life turned upside down and twisted into knots very recently. Being asked to do a concrete task (generate manna) and not being the only one to have to do it is actually a little bit of a welcome break where she might find some breathing room to figure out her life and what's next. She's curious and adaptable, so she'll enjoy learning about people's home worlds because she hasn't been able to travel away from the wasteland Jakku. She is in definite need of some positive affection after a budding romantic connection when terribly wrong, so she'll enjoy some salacious hand holding and maybe even kissing and learn that positive attention and connection doesn't have to come at the cost of abandoning your whole moral code to become an evil galactic empress.
Condition upon arrival: Without (physical) injuries and healthy. Mentally, she'll still be reeling from her dumb villain boyfriend making bad decisions and proposing in the absolute worst way possible.
