Hey there!
I've been on the fringes of online fan cultures since the usenet days (early-to-mid-90s). I was retrofit88 on livejournal, and am retrofit88 at AO3. I am interested in the social, sociological, and legal aspects of fan cultures, as well as all the awesome stuff fans make and do!
If I've added you, it's because I read something of yours and think your (content/stories/commentary/etc) is cool. Or because I had friended you on LJ; I'm slowly but surely transferring fannish activity from there. By default, I'm granting access to anyone I'm subscribing to; plan to use filters for stuff I want to keep under the radar (if any). No expectation of, or pressure for, reciprocal access.
