I don't know what to say about myself. What I write about in my blog might be only interesting to people who know me in real life, too. But... who knows?

I'm a student of English literature and language and have a part-time job at the university. I don't think the purpose of academia is to make things sound more complicated than they really are. I don't think life's that complicated either - except when it is of course... I believe in art, music, and stories in general. In translation, too. I am a feminist. I do yoga, not nearly enough though. I think in metaphors. I read, I write, I listen. I'm not sure who I am or who I am to become. Sometimes, that scares me - sometimes, it doesn't. I try to celebrate my personal accomplishments. I know how to be strong. I try to be brave, compassionate, and true to myself.
