Yes, I ran away from LiveJournal. I was glad to find such a nice refuge.
By which I meant InsaneJournal. As of July 2012 I ran away from there too. Luckily there's still a good place to run to.

THE STARS MY DESTINATION
This is me, chattering into the abyss.
First it was Golden Shore’s evil twin. Then, it was a place to keep track of what I was reading, or watching. Then I got my own computer (or perhaps I should say, e-clay-tablet) and I could sit at my desk in the middle of the night, staring out the window, moaning in existential agony and typing in my latest Minesweeper scores.
And then, of course, it became a refugee; it had to flee from the Evil Empire of duplicity, exploitation and crass commercialism, and seek asylum elsewhere.
Unfortunately, if you seek refuge in an asylum, you may find your hosts a little unpredictable.
If you’re there too, floating in the great dark void, make yourself known and I’ll try to respond...

DEEP SPACE IS MY DWELLING PLACE, but I've spent most of my time driving around Earth...
I'm actually not 100% sure I've been to South Carolina.
