Queer Rage is a space in which self-identified queer people (from any point along the LGBTQAIO spectrum) can safely and openly vent, complain, scream, kick up a fuss and rage against discrimination that they face, living queer in modern society.

Please familiarize yourself with the rules before posting. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact [personal profile] amadi.

The Rules


  1. This is not a discussion or debate community. If you disagree with a posted rage, scroll on to the next. Do not come into the comments with the intention of starting an argument or leveling criticism. That's not what this space is for.

  2. While the content of rages is left to the rager, expressions of ableism, biphobia/bi-erasure, classism, homophobia, racism, religious intolerance, sexism, sizism, transmisogyny/transphobia or any other oppressive discriminatory practices are not acceptable, in posts or comments. You will be asked to edit or delete anything which violates this rule.

  3. What's behind an access lock stays behind an access lock. If a post is not public, then it's not meant to travel beyond this space, period.

  4. We're not here to play Oppression Olympics games. No "X people have it worse than Y people" silliness, please. There's just no need.

  5. All posts should be on topic: that is to say that all posts must contain a rage. No intro posts (though you can include basic intro info in a rage) and no memes or basic repeats of news alerts or anything else.

  6. Any mentions of violence, real (e.g. graphic discussion of what was done to Matthew Shepard or Angie Zapata) or imagined (e.g. "he made me so angry I'd like to rip his head off!") should be behind a cut which warns for violent content.
