Robert worked closely with Chicago based hip hop artist Saba to bring his new album, Few Good Things, to life in the form of a short film. Part documentary, part music video, the film is both poignant and touching. Using a combination of live action and archival material, C.T. conjures a warm, emotionally serendipitous sensation throughout, while exploring many of the complex and often challenging themes that inform Saba's music - from profound questions around life, death and rebirth to the continuing search for a Black identity in light of historic injustice and oppression. Shot on location in the West Side of Chicago using local talent and a diverse crew, the production was oriented around C.T. and Saba's aspiration to center, and give back to the community that shaped them.
