Shi's Simple Fingerless Gloves

A very... informal pattern whipped up after cobbling together a couple of pairs
Made with medium-weight (4) yarn (originally Caron Simply Soft Party in Teal Sparkle and Fuschia Sparkle) and a 5mm hook (US H-8)
Meant to fit my small delicate hands; you might need to add a row or two to make it fit bigger hands (or more stitches per row to make them longer)
Make 2, these are Gloves after all, but there's not really a right or wrong side so just fold them how they gotta go
Glove base: Use base colour.
Row 1: ch 25.
Row 2-3: ch 1 to turn; sc 25.
Row 4-14: ch 2 to turn; dc 25.
Row 15: ch 2 to turn; dc 5(L)/10(R); ch 10 or so (maybe a little more if your chains are on the small side) and skip over 10 skitches in the last row; dc 10(L)/5(R) to finish the row.
Row 16: dc until you hit the big chain hole; dc 10 in the hole then keep going (total of 25 dc by the end of the row).
Row 17-22: dc 25. Cast off, but don't sew closed yet.
Edging: With the accent colour, start right where you just cast off and make shell stitches down the sides Row 2-3: ch 1 to turn; sc 25.
Cast off, but don't sew closed yet.
i.e. (sl st, skip one row, dc 6 in the next row, skip a row) 5 times. do a couple more funky lil stitches to turn the corner and keep doing shells in where the chain stitches started (skip 2 and 6 dc in the 3rd, skip 2 more and sl st in the 6th) 4 times. Do more on the other edge (as above) 5 times and NOW you can stitch the glove together (with the accent colour, yeah, just stick close to the shells and it's not even visible).
Flower: use accent colour; make 2 (1 per glove) or more, if you wanna get fancy!
Row 1: ch 6, sl st to form a ring.
Row 2: ch 1, sc 12 in ring.
Row 3: (sl st in next sc, ch 2, dc in same hole, tr in same hole, dc in same hole, ch 2, sl st in same hole, sl st in next hole) 6 times. Cast off and leave a nice long tail; use tail to stitch flowers onto gloves.
