Has a whole lot of "gotta", along with a whole lot of (at times gratuitous) gore. But overall very entertaining, and has some interesting ruminations on the process of writing itself.

Such a wonderfully neurotic character to make this story absolutely perfect! I loved the "Story within the story" that is merely touched on in the movie version. Along with so many other changes for the movie. This book is just one of my favorites... (it's so hard to pick just 1 or 5) I've read just about all of King's books and eventhough they are not for everyone, I can't imagine anyone not liking this book!!

I have to say that this is my very favorite book and movie by Stephen King. I thought it was fascinating and unique and I really loved it. But if you really want to read a book that's really psychologically bizarre I think you should read "Adam" by Ted Dekker. The only thing disappointing is the people they pick to read these books. Their voices are undramatic they got the kind of voice that's just normal everyday and it adds no intensity or interest it's like listening to a newscaster.
