About Papermoon Diner 🚀

Established in 1994, Papermoon Diner has become a beloved fixture in Baltimore’s vibrant dining scene. Located in the Remington neighborhood, near Johns Hopkins University and the Baltimore Museum of Art, our diner is renowned for its eclectic decor and welcoming atmosphere.

Our menu offers a creative twist on classic comfort food, catering to a diverse community of locals and visitors alike. With our unique ambiance and commitment to quality, Papermoon Diner has become a cultural staple in Baltimore, reflecting the city’s artistic spirit and culinary innovation.

We are open 5 days a week. Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am – 4pm, Friday – Sunday from 8am – 6pm.

Went Sunday morning during brunch hours. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Cute little 2 person table snuggled in all the colorful and bright decor throughout the entire restaurant. Forgot to take pictures but we ordered the egg which, shrimp omlette, and grits-! Super cheesy delicious grits. Honestly I will order the entre next time! The omelete was more like eggs and shrimp plated together. The coffee was mediocre. It's a cute little spot for brunch

Such a fun and unique spot. It feels like eating inside a toy museum! Everywhere you look there’s something quirky and nostalgic to see. We loved exploring all the curated toy exhibits while we waited for our food. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and just as memorable as the atmosphere.

Definitely a must-visit if you love great food with a side of creativity and nostalgia! 🍳🧸✨

Do you take reservations?

No, we do not accept reservations. If you arrive and there is a wait for a table, please sit on our back patio while you wait or take some time to enjoy our gardens and sculptures. We will call you as soon as your table is ready.

Do you serve breakfast items from your menu all day?

Yes! We serve our entire menu all day!

When are you closed?

We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We are also closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Where can I park?

Next to the Papermoon Diner there is a private, free parking lot for Papermoon Diner customers. In addition there are parking spots directly behind the Papermoon Diner and on-street parking.

Who designs the Papermoon Diner?

David Briskie, Maryland Institute College of Art graduate, has crafted the Papermoon Diner into a functioning art piece for 30 years. He designs colorful interiors and gardens, transforming the diner with vibrant sculptures and creative installations to inspire and delight. Briskie sources unique objects from antique stores, personal collections, and customer donations to add character to his dynamic creations. His work reflects a vision of art that lives, evolves, and functions within the daily lives of its visitors.
