Friending Policy


Friend me if you want, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. Unfriend me, I won't mind, I promise. Reading interests change and I admit I'm not the most fascinating journal writer out there. Mostly I pimp communities and challenges, occasionally rec stories or art, post my own writing. I rarely post about my Real Life, but I'm trying to get better at that.



Current Fandoms


I am heavily involved in OZ (the HBO series). This is the show that got me involved in fandom in the first place, way back when. Other fandoms have come and gone, but Oz will always be here to stay.

SGA - I didn't quite get in on the ground floor, but it was close. This fandom has been my lifeline, it got me through some rough Real Life changes. The show has had it's ups and downs, especially the disappointing last season, but this is another fandom that isn't going away.

Small Fandoms - I am a huge fan and tireless supporter of small fandoms in general, and a few that have captured my heart in particular. Some favorites: Alien Nation, Brimstone, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Ginger Snaps, Onmyoji and Pet Shop of Horrors.

There are many, many more, which is why I adore such communities as [info]slashfest, [info]smallfandomfest, [info]smallfandomflsh and [info]yuletide.

The Sentinel - I'm not as active in this fandom any more, I'm sorry to say. TS is not a huge fandom, but it is one of the friendliest and most supportive fandoms I've ever experienced. I made a lot of friends through TS, many are still here today. It pains me that my interest in TS has slipped because it is a fun show and a lovely fandom.

A few fandoms that are not as interesting to me, but they were fun while they lasted: Burn Notice, due South, and Donald Strachey Mysteries. I still skim some of the fic, but, well, the thrill is gone. Sorry!
