Canon Character Information
Appearance: Poised. She's never seen without her make-up and hair perfectly done. She favors stark contrasts in simple tones. Red lipstick. Blue suits or military dress. Peggy isn't tiny unless you stand her next to someone the size of Captain America and she holds herself tall even at her most defeated. She has medium length wavy brown hair, a curvy frame and if you met her on the street you wouldn't assume that she could bust your kneecaps without blinking. That is until she looks at you. She has a very direct gaze, whether in anger or empathy and you always know when she is speaking to you.
History: Link

Personality: Peggy presents herself as capable, collected, and very confident in what she does and what she knows. She has a tough, often exasperated demeanor, that makes men and women often skirt around her. Despite all that nonsense, she's quite definitely a lady. She wears her hair perfectly curled and her make up is always applied first thing in the morning. She knows how to command and keep attention, and coincidentally how to scare them on a very base level. She's dangerous, but easily presents herself as approachable.

She was a spy for Great Britain first and foremost and she knows how to play a role when one is tossed at her. Those who know this might have difficulties in processing the differences between what is real and what is fake. Those she trusts most know her for who she is. She is mostly that calm, confident woman who can easily punch a man in the face or shoot someone in the knee, and in rare occasions beat men in the face with a brief case while wearing high heels. She is intelligent and quick-witted which has frequently saved her life and the lives of those around her. She doesn't take sass from anyone, good or bad, and if annoyed, she takes no pains to hide it.

But that isn't all she is. Peggy is a chronic worrier and a dreamer. She often felt as if her place within the SSR and her position with the US Army was tenuous at best and only truly solid because Captain America liked her, and having that rubbed in her face at every moment convenient for those with power over her did nothing to soothe over those raw nerves. This makes her work twice as hard and never stop to second guess herself. It's what drove her to take on a mission by herself and what will make her a formidable founding member of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Steve Rogers was the first man she ever loved. He wasn't like any man in the military she had ever known. He had a huge heart, a large amount of gumption and a smile that could make her toes curl. A part of her is glad he never got to know how deeply she felt for him, not because he would take advantage of something she felt was a minor weakness, but because he wouldn't. He would have been nearly too perfect for her and that was always a heady feeling. Once he understood how capable she was, he treated it as a fact and didn't try to keep her from joining in the fight.

She always had a firm moral code and an incredible sense of who she was and what her capabilities are. Steve's memory has simply pushed her to be even better at what she already is. But above all she has faith. Faith in the very moral fabric of the human soul, and faith that even in the trickiest of situations, there will come a solution.

Prose Log Sample: Three hours remained, such a lark, even if she did her supposed job, it wouldn't change the fact that she knew precisely who she was, and had been. Nothing short of an entire wipe would remove that from her. And with each passing hour, her questions mounted.

And the jumpsuit was hideous.

Priorities being what they were, she wasn't about to complain that what she was wearing wasn't fit for even the most despicable criminal.

Bright red. For God's sake, were they meant to be worker drones or a flock of disgruntled Father Christmas'?

Setting up some kind of surveillance would be key, but until she'd gone through a day or so in this place, the best she could do was watch her own back and not cause any trouble.

Unless trouble came to her first. And it did with alarming frequency. So to say she was both stunned and a little upset when she spotted a very familiar pair of broad shoulders walking in the opposite direction, her first reaction was, perhaps, not the smartest, but maybe not necessarily wrong.

"You're late."

Is fourth walling acceptable for your character? Yep.
If yes, are there any restrictions or notes you'd like other players to know? Nope
Would you like to volunteer your character to be a selected target of the Anti-Special Society (ASS)? LOL SIGN HER UP

Do you agree that your character will be held accountable to the terms of Treason and Punishment if they are found to be guilty of treason? Yes

She's also terribly British despite working and living in America for a number of years.

Powers/Talents: She is a director of S.H.I.E.L.D. She has strong combat skills, would self-identify as a sharp shooter, and has an incredibly strong stomach when it comes to gore or the unusual.

Why would your character be chosen? She can take down five men on her own with a brief case and her wits. She's incredibly smart and quick-witted and conventionally very attractive. She can also quite possibly kill you with lipstick and a paper clip.
How much does your character know about nonhumans? She knows more than some. She knows they exist. She knows of men who can become something less than human. And she has seen what alien technology can do to a man.
Why this character: Peggy. Peggy is my darling warrior woman who I have been playing for well over a year.

First-Person: [Peggy's irritation shows in her tight, clipped words. It's all said with barely concealed fury at being kidnapped in the middle of a highly sensitive debriefing and her frustration at the disorganized greeting and serious lack of information. A prophecy is all well and good when you believe in that sort of thing. What she wants to know is what anyone is doing about it?]

I require a gun and a change of clothes. Preferably in that order. Thank you.

There wasn't enough coffee in southern France to cure the headache Peggy woke to that morning. A stubborn pounding had taken up residence in her forehead sometime in the last four hours and nothing on God's green Earth seemed good enough to stop it. That didn't mean she wasn't prepared to try. The boys liked to claim the coffee they were given could grow hair on the chest, even her's, and it would need to be enough.

Howard had been gone for a month now and Phillips had gone past the point of understanding a week prior. Everyone expected her to recall him. They needed his mind to finish the damn war, and Peggy knew she was the only one who could even possibly hope to bring him back.

If only she could convince herself that what he was doing wasn't important. She was beginning to miss him, truthfully, but she couldn't call him in.

She simply couldn't.

She wasn't terribly surprised to see men already up and about when she emerged from her tent, even though it was dark. No one really slept for long, if they managed sleep at all.

So she shouldn't have been surprised to be greeted when she finally found where they were hiding the coffee.

Presentation: Peggy presents herself as capable, collected, and very confident in what she does and what she knows. She has a tough, often exasperated demeanor, that makes men and women often skirt around her. Despite all that nonsense, she's quite definitely a lady. She wears her hair perfectly curled and her make up is always applied first thing in the morning. She knows how to command and keep people's attention, and coincidentally how to scare them on a basic level. She's dangerous, but easily presents herself as somewhat approachable.

She was a spy for Great Britain first and foremost and she knows how to play a role when one is tossed at her. Those who know this might have difficulties in processing the differences and what is real and what is fake.

Those she trusts most know her for who she is. She is mostly that calm, confident woman who can easily punch a man in the face or shoot someone in the knee. She is intelligent and quick-witted which has frequently saved her life and the lives of those around her. She doesn't take sass from anyone, and if annoyed, she takes no pains to hide the fact from you.
Motivations: Peggy is a chronic worrier. She often feels as if her place within the SSR and her position with the US Army is tenuous at best and only truly solid because Captain America likes her. This is why she works as hard as she does, never stopping to second guess herself and keeps moving onward because if she stops to reflect upon certain circumstances in her life the worry and regret may bog her down indefinitely. Especially killing her mother's ambitions to have her settle down, instead taking after her father and engaging in a military career where so few women had before.

Prose: It wasn't amusing the first time the bizarrely dressed guards had informed her of where she was. It didn't become any more entertaining when they told her what she was about to do. Peggy bristled as she was hustled into the windowless room, pulling from their hands before they could continue to push her along like cattle.

"I don't suppose you have a gun I could use," she asked, first to her escorts and then the ladies and gentlemen on the elevated platform. It was a rather useless question. From the amount of planning and detail put into place, they wouldn't leave a deadly weapon for their participants to use against them. Or at least not one that could do an enormous amount of damage.

Prove herself, they had told her. Impress them and you will be rewarded for it later. Now how the bloody hell was she meant to do that in an empty gymnasium with no one to fight against? She doubted any of the well-dressed people watching her would be willing to have their perfectly sculpted faces punched in, though the urge to act on that impulse was large.

Peggy drummed her fingers against her hips and eyed the line-up before her. She had been in life or death situations before, but this time she was woefully unprepared for it.
What is your character scored: Peggy scores a 7.
