Some of these are supposed to be posted at the end of the day, but I sit with my coffee and do online things in the a.m.

16.            What’s the last thing you apologized for? I sat on Speedo a bit when I got up and re-sat, so I told him I was sorry. He likes to lay on the next cushion when I'm on the couch.

17.            On a scale of 1-10 how is your health? I haven't been in for a physical in several years. I tend to avoid doctors. I know I shouldn't. I'd say I'm at a 6 or 7, based mostly on my weight. But I strive for 120 minutes of exercise a week and I average seven hours of sleep a night and have lowered my stress level a lot in the past few years.

18.            If you could do today over, would you change anything? So far, I'm good with today.

19.            I wish I had an RV

20.          Last thing you wanted but didn’t get. A toaster. I suggested KJ get it for me for Christmas as they are only $10-15. He didn't. I went out and got one for myself.

I don't usually do stuff like this, but I'm going to try. I have some catching up to do, so will answer five at a time until I get caught up.

365 Day Journal Challenge
1. What is your number one goal this year? I know it's cliche' but I am really focusing on my health. I am 58 years old and I have not taken very good care of myself the past few years. I'm tired. I never used to be tired. So by improving my health I hope to have more energy, while accepting the fact that I can't do what I used to do, or at the very least, it take me longer, so I am trying to plan more time for doing these things.

2. What are you most grateful for? My life. The older I get the more I appreciate being alive.

3. Are you content? I don't really like the feeling of being content. There are things I want and want to do. Not desperately so, but I associate being content with being complacent and I don't ever want to be complacent. I want to keep doing new things, going to new places, experiencing new people.

4. What is your best memory of last year? Going up to Bayfield in June to see Michael Franti at the Big Top. It was a sister trip (with my older sister Jane), the first one we've ever taken as adults that I can remember, and it was challenging, but it was a really nice time. I want to go back up there if he books it again this summer, but maybe go with someone else. If he's not going to be there, I may go anyway. I'd also like to take one of the Apostle Island tours while there.

5. Can people change? God I hope so! Actually I know so. I have reinvented myself a few times. I think growth is change, so definitely people change.

This is about the same time of year I made my first post on livejournal back in 2004. It was close to New Year's, might even have been NYE, from my desk in my basement. I actually remember doing it. I was pointed to it by a friend from a Yahoo community. I've been journaling there ever since.

I do think I will journal there and then copy here, for now. I would love to make new friends!

I don't think I will load past lj posts here. If it goes down, my posts will go down with it :)

I will pay for an account here at some point. I want to support the platform. I have a permanent account at lj, purchased probably the last time they offered that.
