AKA how to be a scary bastard 101.

Also, this guy loves apostrophes.

Interval CD Vol. 3, Track 1: "Persistent Nordics"

Sweden: Not much reason t' stay standin'. Y' wanna sit?
Finland: Okay, Sve. The others sure are late!
Sweden: Y'don't hafta sit so far 'way. Here.
Finland: Ah ha... I'll just swipe the seat next to you then, I guess.
Sweden: Mm.

Finland: I wouldn't even care if it was just once, I'd love it if there were someone to call me big brother! ...wh-what is it, Sve?! You just whipped around to face me so suddenly!
Sweden: If he wants someone t'call 'im "big brother", maybe I should...? Or maybe he could call me big brother.
Finland: Sve? ...Sve? What's wrong? You went so quiet all of a sudden.
Sweden: But 's too embarrassin' t'say.
Finland: Sve?
Sweden: Nah, 's nothin'.

Interval CD Vol. 3, Track 2: "Denmark swings too low at Sweden!"
Finland: Right, Sve? You think Denmark and Nor get along pretty well too, right?
Sweden: Def'nitely.
Finland: Yep.
Sweden: Mm. Oh!
Finland: Why are you glaring at me, Sve?!
Sweden: I just wanted t'point out that we get along pretty well too, but...
Finland: Sve?
Sweden: But it's just too embarrassin', so I guess I'll keep m'mouth shut.
Finland: Sve? Nngh... I can't be sure since he's not saying anything, but I don't think he's doing this because he's angry or anything.

Sweden: What's up? Yer awful quiet, Fin.
Finland: Oh, sorry! I was just wrapped up in some old memories. Speaking of old times, you had a boss with a pretty cool nickname way back when.
Sweden: King Lion.
Finland: Yes, him! He was known as the Lion of the North or something, wasn't he? That sounds pretty cool, doesn't it!
Sweden: Oh!
Finland: Why're you suddenly glaring at me, Sve?!
Sweden: I was just turnin' around.
Finland: S-Sorry! You just have such a forceful presence that it surprised me!

Sweden can actually communicate pretty well. Finland thinks he understands him most of the time, but even though they’re neighbors, ever so often he’d come across something about Sweden that he doesn’t understand, and the other Nordics would watch over them heartwarmingly.
