Okay, now that the nastiness is out of the way....

Hi, there! This is my journal for memes, fan squees, the occasional personal note, and updates on the fan art/writing I put in my separate personal fan art and fanfiction communities (not locked yet). I tag very thoroughly and use cuts for any possibly triggering or NSFW not-childsafe material.

I like a little bit of everything in all things artistic, including visual, musical, and written. My creations span a pretty wide range, too, so you might like one thing I post and absolutely hate the next.

Friending Policy:
1. Because this journal involves things that might have "some adult content" or "explicit adult material" in it, you absolutely must have your birth year in your profile in order for me to friend you back. This is in accordance with the Dreamwidth Terms of Service as I understand them.
2. If your journal and/or profile has absolutely no English in it (doesn't have to be a sentence), thereby making it impossible for me to determine anything about you as a person, I will not friend you back. Sorry, but I need to know at least a little about the people I'm allowing into my journals. I also need to know that these journals are, in fact, people and not "ghost journals."
3. If your journal and/or profile is empty, see #2, rinse, repeat if necessary.

If there is some reason you don't want to be mutual friends, it would really help me learn the things I need to learn (as a person on the autism spectrum [we don't separate Asperger syndrome anymore because he worked for the Nazis]) if you could possibly send me a brief private message telling me as constructively as you can what your reason is. Please don't just say something like "You're a stupid bitch!" because that doesn't teach me anything. All it does is frustrate me because it just adds one more to the tally of "What am I doing wrong?" Thank you.

To Whom It May Concern:

This journal has been marked as adult because some--not all, mind you--of my posts are of an adult nature. Even with this safeguard in place, I also go so far as to mark my adult posts as containing adult content and also make them friends only.

Because of the recent policy post at LiveJournal and the responses to the questions posted regarding relevant posts to fiction writers and icon makers, I feel that I must make the following clarifications about the work that will be posted in this journal and by me throughout various journal communities in my fandoms:

(PLEASE NOTE: ALL POSTS, INCLUDING PERSONAL ONES, CONTAINING ANY OF THE BELOW BULLETED ITEMS WILL CONTAIN SPECIFIC WARNINGS ABOVE THE CUT AND IN THE TAGS BEFORE THE POSSIBLY OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT IS REVEALED TO THE USER.)

• I fully understand that rape, sexual assault, and incest of any kind are criminally abusive offenses and cause extreme trauma to anyone who experiences them. I, therefore, consider them to be objectionable (though victims thereof need feel no shame, as they did NOT "ask for it"), and any mention of them in this journal is only due to personal association with victims.


• I fully believe in "thou shalt not kill," and also object to other violent crimes. Again, any mention of such is only due to personal association with victims. Caveat: The military are following orders from their superiors and are often traumatized because of the things they do. They need help and understanding when returning home from conflict; they do not need more enemies.


• I have a real problem with statutory rape (adult with child). It is wrong in so many ways. NOTE: I do not consider sex between two consenting teenagers to be any kind of rape. If this offends you, either do not friend this journal or skip over the fanfics/fan art with warnings of such. I will rarely discuss this topic in this journal, if at all.


• I also have a real problem with child abuse. Children are incapable of defending themselves against abuse, and anyone who hurts a child should be put in prison, where prisoners who miss their own children almost always find ways of working in the Darwin effect. Any posts regarding child abuse of any kind are only due to personal association with victims.


• Minors use adult language all the time. If you disagree with my claim about minors using adult language, plant yourself inconspicuously behind a secondary school where the "cool" kids gather together during lunch and/or after school. I once talked like that, as well, but I'm making an effort to clean it out of my interpersonal conversation (not my fanfiction, so much) because I'm working to get more involved in my church where it ain't appropriate.


• I have a real problem with anyone having casual (or premarital) sex without use of a condom. I also have a problem with pansexuals having sex without condoms unless everyone is regularly tested for STDs and then refrains from sex until they're told they're clean. If you've ever seen an AIDS or herpes baby, you'd understand this. (AIDS treatments are now available to lower the risk incredibly, but there's still no treatment to lower the risk if the mother has an active herpes infection when giving birth.)


• Based on my own hormone experiences, I fully believe that sexuality stems from the hormone levels with which people are born. There are also intersex people (medically, "hermaphrodites") born for whom the parents/surgeons choose the incorrect sex organs to keep. It is therefore asinine to claim there are only two genders, male and female, and even more asinine to make such a statement part of a nation's law. It is also asinine to persecute and/or object to LGBTQIA+ activity, relationships, love, and marriage. Yes, there are those who are obnoxious and push themselves on non-receptive straight (or LGBTQIA+) people, but the rest of the LGBTQIA+ community should not suffer prejudice for a few bad seeds. (Also, there are just as many obnoxious straight people who push themselves on non-receptive parties. ("#metoo" movement, anyone?) That said, there will be posts in this journal discussing alternate sexuality. I am educated enough to know it is something that is just as "natural" or "normal" as heterosexuality.


• Terrorism exists because there are a bunch of narrow-minded, ignorant cowards in the world. In case this doesn't make it clear enough--yes, I object to it. I also have absolutely no idea how to make any materials to cause any harm to anyone or to cause any security breaches. Any mention of same is merely that: a mention. Such mentions are merely because of personal associations with war veterans and history as a medical transcriptionist for the Veterans' Association. (I had top security clearance at the time, so I do not talk about anything from a report until it becomes public record. I ain't stupid.)


• Anyone who is currently verbally, emotionally, physically, psychologically, or sexually abusive to anyone--especially "loved ones"--without seeking psychiatric and/or spiritual help to change the behavior, does not deserve to be in the company of others, no matter how charming they are when not being abusive. Abusive behavior of any kind is wrong, wrong, WRONG. I pray God will be merciful on the abusers and help them find the light. I also help he will save the abused before it's too late for them.


• Illegal drug use and prescription drug or alcohol abuse are very troubled, harmful behaviors due to genetics and/or mental illness. Should these behaviors ever enter any of my posts, they will only be discussed as such because of acquaintances I've had with those similarly troubled.


• All religions have the right to coexist in this world, as long as they are not causing harm to other humans or animals emotionally or physically whether consensual or not (because the "consensual" is often due to propaganda, just like Naziism). I therefore refuse to censor any references to "Pagan" religions. I do not condone prejudicial behavior; in fact, I find such behavior very frustrating. If I post anything you find personally offensive (or, biased), please send me a private message and tell me what I said wrong. (I'm still learning some of the correct vernacular for the LGBTQIA+ community, for instance.) Thank you!


• I do not condone conspiracy theorism as a rule. If I mention any conspiracy theories, they are almost always in jest (unless they're regarding Trump and his sycophants).


• All fan art results from screencaps by KissThemGoodbye's TV or KissThemGoodbye's Movie Gallery, from Home of the Nutty (HOTN), from movie-screencaps.com, or from Screencapped.net (specified per post). Stock photos used in posted art come from either pixabay (credit given in post when this is the case) or from searching and using the #freetoedit tag in various graphics communities on the Interwebs.
