  • DeepOcean completes subsea decommissioning for Spirit Energy DeepOcean has successfully recovered a 100+ tonne subsea wellhead protection structure at Spirit Energy’s Seven Seas field and disconnected subsea infrastructure at the nearby Grove West field. The project, managed and executed from Aberdeen, combined DeepOcean’s specialist engineering and project management expertise with proprietary decommissioning tooling and ROV-enabled methodologies, eliminating the need for diver intervention. "By working closely with specialist contractors such as DeepOcean and leveraging the UK supply chain, we have safely recycled more than 95% of materials from decommissioned assets and infrastructure," says Ceri Wheaton, Decommissioning Manager at Spirit Energy. • 1,500+ task plans. One smarter way to deliver them 💡 DeepOcean’s new Digital Task Planner is now live on its first vessel. Every year, DeepOcean creates and executes more than 1,500 task plans that underpin the safe and efficient delivery of offshore operations. By moving from fragmented, document-based workflows to a purpose-built digital platform, we are enabling a more connected, collaborative, and data-driven way of working. For our clients, this means greater transparency, improved operational control, enhanced consistency across projects, and a stronger foundation for remote operations. Over time, the platform will also help capture and reuse operational knowledge - enabling more efficient planning and execution from one project to the next.

  • Subsea inspection campaigns generate vast amounts of ROV footage – far more than survey teams can realistically review in real time. Turning that footage into actionable insights, consistently and at scale, remains one of the industry's ongoing challenges. DeepOcean was featured in May 2026 edition of Global Underwater Hub news magazine, exploring how AutoInspect combines machine learning with human expertise to support survey teams – and what it really takes to deploy AI effectively in subsea environments. 𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲  DeepOcean is piloting DeepOcean Live, our new digital client portal that brings offshore operations closer than ever before. Designed to give onshore based clients real-time visibility, seamless collaboration, and faster access to critical information, the platform is already being tested with a key customer - and will be rolled out more broadly later this year. With DeepOcean Live, clients can: • Access live vessel video feeds for instant situational awareness • Replay and review key operational moments • Share and retrieve essential project documentation in one place • Stay aligned through real-time notifications and updates By consolidating live data, recordings, and project information into a single interface, DeepOcean Live reduces manual reporting and enables more efficient, transparent project execution.

  • DeepOcean will be presenting at the Underwater Robotics Conference 2026 in Edinburgh, UK. Our Technical Manager for Spatial Engineering, Josh Erratt, will be joining the Data Acquisition, AI & Interpretation panel, presenting "Smaller Footprint, Bigger Picture: Enhancing Subsea Inspection Performance," exploring how the subsea industry can do more with less by running smarter, more integrated inspection campaigns. Some of the insights DeepOcean will bring to the discussion: • How new integrated technologies and conventional ROV inspection can be delivered in a combined, single campaign • How high resolution 3D data is shifting subsea maintenance from reactive to predictive, and what that means for future IMR planning • And what the next chapter of subsea inspection looks like, and why the industry should be excited about it If you are attending, make sure not to miss the presentation and learn more about how DeepOcean employs 3D subsea scanning across the subsea lifecycle.
