Megatron strode into the chamber unannounced, prowling around the femme that had managed — somehow — to be a catalyst for peace AND ensnare one of his better Seekers.
He found that he approved of her unflinching gaze at him, the fact she did not make herself smaller, nor bluster and flare like those frontliners.
"I see why he calls you Sparkle." He actually chuckled at the flare of her shields in irritation for the nickname. "Today, however, you shine. As should be. You do understand why this union is so public?"
"It's not like you and papa can make a union that would actually be thought of as real in any way," Midnight said with a huff of her vents. "And no, don't tell me your opinions of that; I'd rather not hear them.
"So I am the Autobot symbol, Thundercracker is the Decepticon one, everyone knows we both have high status and the audials of our leaders so our union is a symbol of peace."
"Well said, Primelet."
He enjoyed her weighing that epithet too, and thought he truly could see more of Prime in her. Where once he sought to rule, now he strove to protect, through the peace.
