thank you so much for writing for me! below are some general likes, DNWs, and common DNWs i'm fine with. feel free to consider this post just a guide - if there's something i haven't mentioned that you'd really like to write, do go ahead and write it. when it comes to small fandoms, i'm not at all picky!

- I adore Mr Stevens and Miss Kenton, and their beautiful, tragic, almost-relationship. I would genuinely love to see anything involving them. Mr Stevens is such a great character and I love Putting That Man In Situations. If you're familiar with Britain in the early 20th century or late 19th century I'd love for that to come through! Possible ideas: Mr Stevens and/or Miss Kenton at different stages of life to those we see them at, the two of them as parents, a tale of them overcoming a problem together. i welcome silliness and humour as much as i do complicated feelings and angst.
withnail and i (1987 film)
- I watched this last week and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. i would love to explore the relationship between marwood and withnail - it's not straightforward or uncomplicatedly romantic, to me. i would love to see them in more situations! particularly how it might happen if they were to ever kiss or go further, and particularly if it's awkward or confusing. but i am also hungry for non-sexual situations with just them being them! These characters really have a hold on me, so anything where they're really in character would be brilliant.
i'm also quite interested in the time period (1969 Britain), so if you are too I'd love for that to come through in setting, characterisation and description!
finally, this film has got to be one of the funniest of all time - i'd really love fic that's also funny!
all the crooked saints (maggie steifvater book)
there is, i believe, no fic of this on ao3. if you choose this fandom, then consider this a blank slate to write whichever fic you think needs writing! i will mention that one of my favourite things about this book, though, was the focus on place and setting, so would love more of that!

i read this book when i was about 15 and liked it so much i carried it around in my bag for weeks afterwards. my favourite part was the bit where maddy is walking deeper into the tunnels, and finds loki ("lucky"), and he's charming and charismatic, but our girl maddy gets the best of him. i love the relationship between maddy and loki - it can be seen in all sorts of lights. i don't have any more specific things to prompt here, but there's so little fic for these books that if you're writing for this fandom i'd just like to encourage you to write whatever you want! AU or canon, ship focused or gen, it's all good!
