Apr. 20th, 2009 01:35 pmSo excited that Dreamwidth goes into public beta at the end of the month. The new styles system looks to be awesomely flexible, even for people who fear S2 layers. Can't wait for them to finish it.

Considering it was almost cancelled after season 2, to get five seasons is amazing. I love all its small-town, real-life, emotional goodness. I have no celebratory FNL icon, but pretend I do. Whee!

Family of Blood wallpaper
May. 13th, 2008 06:08 pmI rewatched "The Family of Blood" recently, and the chilling ending sort of spawned this wallpaper. The sketch-like picture of the Family is from a Flash animation on the BBC site. It won 3rd place in the dw_wallpaper April challenge (thanks for the votes!).

So the new(ish) LiveJournal clone, Scribblit, has changed owners and recently held a poll to decide what to rename the site. I suggested "Inksome". I was going along the lines of winsome/irksome with "ink" in there to suggest writing. And whaddya know... it won with 66% of the vote.
Cool. I hope it becomes a good alternative to InsaneJournal and the rest.

I'm in restless, spoiler-avoidance mode, and somehow I ended up on Clive's old Who is Doctor Who? site. The sightings page is a kick, and I decided to pick out the ones that might refer to the Doctor & Rose.

I've spent most of my holiday being miserably sick, but I think ColdFX and I have beaten the virus into obscurity now. I should finally be able to finish the D/R wallpaper I started weeks ago.
